Review summary

Bars - HORRIBLE. Every bar that was open would have a 20 minute wait. Bars during the entertainment (ie Trivias) were ALWAYS closed down - this doesn't make one bit of sense except MSC is trying to save money on drinks!!! Paying for shows - RIDICULOUS, this is a crock of crap! That is why we go on a cruiseship - to have entertainment and things to do at our fingertips! And our 3 night cruise was over 900 with the drink pkg! EXPENSIVE for what we got! Luckily having family there - we had a good time. We all though the food was pretty darn good! We won't pay for the extra restaurants. Also, it wasn't clear what bars accepted the drink plus pkg. Finally, 3 couples all family scheduled dinner for 6:15 and they did not seat us all together. They did work it out but at a different time - but this is also a lack of organization by MSC and .

Buffets excellent, main courses very delicious. French onion soup was horrible - this should be the easiest dish on the menu.

No organization. Trivia was crowded, not enough seating and no competition. It was like reading off 12 questions and then answering them after. Not fun at all. Also name that tune - bad.

1 show free. If you wanted others - you had to pay. COVID is OVER, stop trying to get reimbursed for being closed down at the expense of customers!!!

If you are looking for entertainment - MSC needs work on this! Not much shopping but the RB purses are a great buy in the boutique - GO FOR IT!

Try a longer cruise for a better experience at the bars. The short Cruises, with the free drink packages, have become booze cruises. I’ve had a great experience with MSC on three 7 night and one 12 night cruise in the last year.

The Broadway style shows in the main theater are complimentary and included in your fare. The Cirque style shows in the Carousel Lounge are an extra fee (minimal at best). As for your dinner time - you could of visited the restaurant upon boarding and asked for an adjustment so you could all sit together. The drink package is accepted at all bars. Staffing levels continue to be a problem onboard all cruise lines right now which hopefully gets fixed soon.
