Ship was beautiful, very clean. Whenever you passed someone in the hall staff always said Good Morning etc. Room service was great. Dining room staff was excellent. You can pass on the shopping show waste of time. Overall it was a great vacation!!!!

A Most Memorable Cruise by ManleyK

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was a tremendous and memorable cruise. We have been on several cruises before but this ship (Mariner of the Seas) was remarkable. We went with daughter and son-in-law for their anniversary and one we will both remember. We had dinner on their anniversary at Portifino's restaurant. There is nothing but good to say about our dinner and evening. I would highly recommend this cruise and ship to anyone and the thing that impressed us a lot believe it or not was the departure. It was so organized and we didn't have to look forever for our luggage as we just took it and left. It was very comforting and brought some joy to a rather somber end to the cruise. We wished it could have lasted forever. Thanks for helping us book this lovely experience

Cruise of a Lifetime! by DrS1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Clean, I've never had a room cleaned so many times in one day and the towel animals are cute. Friendly service, they go out their way to make you comfortable... I wasn't paid to say this.

Relaxation at its finest! by Dave196873256

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

This was our first cruise so we have no real comparison, but everything was really comfortable and accessible. We never had to wait in long lines, even going through immigration took only about 15 minutes. The horror stories we had heard about lines to get off at ports absolutely were not on this ship--we never waited more than about 5 minutes. The dining experience was maybe not all we expected, it would be nice if the wait staff spoke a little better english. We also took the "First-time cruisers" class on the first night, it was a great way to get to know the ship and have some of the basic questions answered. One of the most fun things that we ended up doing nearly every night on our way to dinner was the "Name that Tune" game in the piano bar. (Sometimes the little things are what makes it.) Overall, I would recommend this ship to anyone and everyone. There was plenty to do for every age group, and the shows were fantastic.

Just Wonderful by AngelaS6

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The Mariner was clean ,well kept and a beautiful Lady...We loved our time on the ship...I'm a slug and stayed onboard while my family did the sights, but they said I missed some wonderful times! They did get me off in Cozumel to see them swim with Dolphins and I was so glad they did...Getting on and off was much easier than I remember on some previous cruises I've been on.

The Best Yet by JaneC2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The ship was beautiful. The view in the promenade reminded me of the splendor of Toronot's Eaton Center in its prime. The staff was always courteous and helpful and the captain was approachable and always entertaining. Speaking of entertainmnet, it was outstanding. It was truly and wonderful cruise.

Great ship by LoriT2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The service was great, the kids club ROCKS, the casino is WAY too smokey to be enjoyed by a non-smoker. The amenities my kids were excited about (rock climbing and ice skating) was available a very limited time period. There was always something to do on the boat. The pool side games were a lot of fun.

Pretty Good Cruise by JenniferS1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Ship was nice. Wait staff was fabulous. The pool decks were way too crowded. There were not nearly enough deck chairs. People were very territorial over chairs and there were many arguments. The photography was not nearly as good as Carnival. Dress codes were not enforced which ruined the mood in the dining room.

mariner of the seas-cruise 2 by JodiL1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

It was my second time on this ship. I think it is the perfect size. It has a lot to offer. I have two teenage daughters who were able to meet other teenagers. I felt comfortable with letting them hangout until 1:00 am the curfew set up on the ship. Security is always present during the evening hours.

Great Time! by PatD8

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

We had a great vacation. The crew was the most service oriented, friendliest we have cruised with. Ship was biggest we'd been on yet. Never seemed too crowded though. Always something do do if you wanted to. Never impossible to find some place quiet if that's what you were looking for.
