sailing out of Singapore it is obviously aimed at the Chinese market. For my family that was not a problem, however, the free-for-all in the Windjammer buffet restaurant would spoil anyones holiday. Never again!!!!!!!!

DON'T GO ON THIS SHIP! and no these capital letters are an understatement. I had half of the people who were cruising for the first time with us and they ALL said they would NEVER DO cruise AGAIN as their option to travel.

Check the menu for the dining room and if you don't like it, go the buffet. There were some days with great option, but some days were not as great. Buffet had plenty of options every day, so you could find what you want. Go to the pool early, gets really packed by 11 am.

The dining room service was excellent. The food was average. The vegetables were always fresh but, the meat was always over cooked. After three dinners in the dining room I ate in the Windjammer which had a greater variety of food and you could at least get filled up on good vegetables.

The 'Our Time' dining is a lot more flexible. You only have a window of 15 minutes for early and late dining.

If the buffet gets too crowded for breakfast, ask a crew member if it is okay to grab a table in one of the speciality restaurants located just off the buffet, usually they will say yes!

Winjammer was very busy. Evening dining would have been nice to have the same teams on the back to back as Rayner and Whe on week 1 were great.

Bring bottled water for Thailand and Vietnam. We always bring some clothes that can be thrown away to make room for souvenirs. Buy in Vietnam, not by the ship. Twice as expensive by the ship.

Well now that you asked, first night we booked their idea of a Italian restaurant, Oh boy. Then their steak & chop restaurant, meat was fine but their idea of creamed corn or spinach is just take some cream and mix it up. No that was not "Special " by no means.

Tip is I think , talk directly from ship office, and online checkin, and check the location for drop off the bag at shanghai, as there are no clear instruction where to drop the bags, so during raining time, we needed to back and forth for this.

The ship is wonderful. Finding out how self-sufficient it is, was a real eye-opener. From an environmental viewpoint, this ship is amazingly responsible.

Don't let them get their hands on your luggage......I guess it would be better to hand carry everything. I am going on almost 3 months without my suitcase that held all my dress up clothes and smart casual wardrobe. They wrote me off and credited my credit card with $300 because they quit looking.

Just be sure to eat at Johnny Rockets and the Dog House when you get tired of the repetitive dining room menu.
