As first-time cruisers with no expectations, we were blown away by the service and experience on the Mariner of the Seas! The quality of the food was first rate and it offered plenty of variety each day/night. Perfect Day at CocoCay was so relaxing and definitely the highlight of our trip and we are already thinking of planning our next trip!

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We loved the food in the MDR each night, especially the specials. Had breakfast, lunch and late-night snacks at the Windjammer’s vast buffet. We enjoyed specialty dining at Chops for lunch one day and the food was excellent.

We enjoyed the casino, the solarium, the sports bar and Bamboo Room.

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our stateroom attendant, Maria, was very friendly and kept our room clean and well stocked with fresh towels. The wait staff, especially Rajesh, Gia and Guido were all super friendly and very attentive to our needs. Other staff we encountered were smiling and sometimes singing as they worked.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
We always noticed little details of the ship being maintained. Even bathrooms in the common areas were kept clean and stocked.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
This being our first cruise, we didn’t know what to expect. Our balcony room was spacious for two people and had a beautiful view. Only felt rocking motion on the first night, when there were rough seas.
Ship tip
I would recommend keeping an eye out for sales on the deluxe drink package and book it!
This say was the best thing on our entire cruise! Our only complaint is that we would have liked to have been on the island longer! The food here was so much better than expected.
Glad you enjoyed it. We were just on the Adventure of the Seas and loved it. Great food, plenty of entertainment options and the perfect size ship. I have seen a few reviews lately with people complaining about the food, service and there was “nothing to do”. I’m not sure what more people could want or how they can be unhappy on a cruise.
