Royal Caribbean is comfortable and a wonderful family setting. We were blessed to have an early Christmas on the Mariner.

If you have never cruised before and have nothing to compare it too this cruise ship would be a good starter. Staff overall were great, food okay, activities plentiful.

We recently sailed on Royal Caribbean’s Mariner of the Seas, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! The ship had so many activities and dining options, and the service was absolutely stellar. We can’t say enough about the dining staff—Grace and Bernard went above and beyond every night, making our meals memorable with their warmth and attention to detail. One minor downside was the smoking section. Its location wasn’t ideal, and the smoke did carry into some common areas. But despite that, the amazing service and wonderful time we had on board far outweighed any small inconvenience. Can’t wait for our next adventure with Royal Caribbean!

Fun weekend cruise with options to do as much or as little as you want. Activities on board tend to be pretty pricey. Easy to spend more money than budgeted.

To be fair, I believe if I we did not experience so much rocking on the boat on the way to Mexico that my trip would have been a five star experience.

Great cruise to Western Caribbean. Itinerary was good and went to ports where I mostly felt save wandering around, beaching, and shopping. I prefer to not go to far 'inside' the Mexican peninsula area but stay closer to the ship. Beaches were clean and had no seaweed. Nice snorkeling in Cozumel. Food on Royal was good. Desserts could be improved and were lackluster. Service from ship staff was exceptional !

This cruise ship was very nice and the staff were amazing. Food was really good.

Have sailed on 3 ships of this class and can easily say, the Mariner of the Seas is the BEST.

Enjoyed the cruise even if we had bad weather related to hurricane

Some good, Some not so good. Organized and Clean but not a lot to do on the boat.

This ship is getting old and is in need of a redo. Rooms are dated and worn, but clean and functional. Entertainment was ok. Service was excellent. Food was good. This is a smaller ship. Caution about travel during hurricane season. We missed the stop in Cozumel due to the hurricane and had a very uncomfortable ride on the way back to Galveston.

Ship smaller than expected but preferable to the megaships. But did miss some of their amenities. May try another larger ship later. Weather good but did have some rain while at sea . Rained( drenching) getting off ship in Costa Maya but later sunny skies. Seas calm. Able to dock at both ports. Wonderful dining room staff, greeter(beautiful smile), reservations/assignment staffers nice, wait staff and Cabin steward. Liked the Crown lounge for the brief visit after we found it.

It was good for my kids because they are little. We had a relaxing time. The staff, boat, and food was trash. The drinks were great!

I sailed on RCCL in 2022 and there were many other included dining options that were not available on this ship. On Mariner, there was only the Windjammer, Main Dining Room and pizza place. All of the other restaurants necessitated an upcharge. Way to go, RCCL. They also just increased the amount of tips for the staff. While they charge you ahead of time, you can reduce that amount and they will give credit your account. I also removed the daily tips for the kids. Not necessary.

Highly encourage folks to go cruising, relax, and get away from phone, texts, emails, work. Fall in love again with your spouse.

My first cruise and I am already planning my next one. I truly enjoyed Royal Caribbean Mariner of the Seas.

Overall not impressed with this ship. It needs a lot of maintenance. The staff needs to trained properly. Will not sail this ship again. You can tell the staff was tired but they didn’t need to take it out on guests. If you don’t believe look in the MDR at the dinning chairs. They need to be replaced. This ship needs more entertainment. More ice shows. I will Say the staff in the Windjammer were amazing. They were on top of everything.

Not a fan. Boring and Royal Caribbean ruined our shore excursion.

Love Royal Caribbean. Mariners food was such a disappointment. We have been on 12+ cruises and this was the first time I had problems with the food.

Overall nice relaxation time. Plenty of spaces to find quiet areas and also great times with others. Everyone we encountered was pleasant.
