Review summary

Great cruise to Western Caribbean. Itinerary was good and went to ports where I mostly felt save wandering around, beaching, and shopping. I prefer to not go to far 'inside' the Mexican peninsula area but stay closer to the ship. Beaches were clean and had no seaweed. Nice snorkeling in Cozumel. Food on Royal was good. Desserts could be improved and were lackluster. Service from ship staff was exceptional !

Port area is a tad crowded most of the day. Take a cab to Mahahual and shop/visit the beach there.

Shops within walking distance. Never felt unsafe. Lots of excursions but we opted to go to a hotel/resort for a day to chill.

Hey...I was on that ship..nice relaxing cruise...was nice to step back from the super large ships.. Easy to get to everything.. everyone was nice
