Great ship

Sail Date: March 30, 2008

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Inside

The service was great, the kids club ROCKS, the casino is WAY too smokey to be enjoyed by a non-smoker. The amenities my kids were excited about (rock climbing and ice skating) was available a very limited time period. There was always something to do on the boat. The pool side games were a lot of fun.

Pros: the size of the boat was perfect for a 7 day cruise

Cons: the amenties arent open enough (ice skating, rock climbing)

Recommends Mariner of the Seas? Yes!

Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Beautiful island, good shopping.
Don't Miss: America's Cup race excursion is the best ever!!
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Also a gorgeous island with good shopping. Meagan's Bay is nice, but the $70 round trip in cab fare PLUS the $4 per person charge to go to a beach was a little steep.
San Juan, Puerto Rico
Not a lot of time there. The fort was beautiful to visit.
Don't Miss: We ate at a great cafe called San Juan Cafe in the town square...yummy!
