Don’t! Staff not accommodating! Lied about perks of room booked. Booked casino rate that said able to drink free while gambling. Booked two rooms at that rate for four people but I was only one who got free drinks and service was ridiculously slow.

Explore the ship the first day and find out where things are and then book or plan them on the next sea day.

See all the shows. Get to the shows 30 to 40 min early they fill up quickly. The theater's are smaller on this ship and there is several of them. Seats are limited. Make reservations at the restaurants early if you can they are all worth going to. Have Fun! Great ship!

Make sure to tour the full ship on the first day to become aquatinted with the decks. Make sure to use you Carnival HUB - it really helps with maps, locations and planning activities! So much to see and do!

If you are a long time Carnival sailor, the Mardi Gras will look like a sparkling new experience, however don't expect the same service as your past experience.

Ask for a banana split in the main dining room - it's not on the menu but they will make it for you... and it will probably be the best thing you eat in there as well.

Do not buy the Cheers package...the days of having bar staff combing the decks and the shows taking drink orders does not exist on this ship (maybe not on any Carnival ships, not sure). If you sailed with Carnival before, be prepared for poor service and slow meals in the dining room. )

If you go in a group expect to do a progressive meal situation because eating spots are all over the ship. You will wait while someone wants a salad at Lido and then someone else a burger at Guy's etc.
