Review summary

Overall we would cruise Mardi Gras again, however we would not book the Havana area on deck 8.

First week with no mask requirements in port terminal. All went well.

Service was off a bit in main, Bonsai sushi and Chi-Bang. Other restaurants were awesome. Guys burgers, big chicken at the Italian restaurant are must do items.

Overall it was nice and the cabin steward was the best. We booked a Havana cabin because of the experience on Vista in a Havana. Havana on Mardi Gras does not meet the Vista standard. If you have cruised Havana cabin on Vista or Horizon, don't expect the same experience here.

Ship tip

Catch Karaoke in the Havana Lounge. Better than expected. Enjoy Guys burger.

What exactly was different in the Havana area on Mardi Gras compared to the other ships that have it? I know the one on the Horizon. Can't say that I swam in the pool, but it was nice to be shielded off that gazillion kids.

Could you elaborate on why the Havana didn’t compare to Horizon or Vista? Would be helpful for those who haven’t stayed in them but considering it such as myself.
