Very disappointed with Carnival’s service. They had our money and really didn’t care after that. Disappointed in food for sure. Not just me and I’m a seasoned veteran! Over 30 cruises taken. Not up to pre Covid standards especially being their newest and biggest ship. I will stick to Norweign or Royal Caribbean from now on. I had friends on another Carnival ship at the same time. They had same complaints so it’s across the board problems.

Cabin steward was great! For most part servers were good except for one who didn’t take order for entire table before walking away. Cocktail service in casino was very slow! Would only see server about every 45 minutes if that lucky!

Ship tip
Don’t! Staff not accommodating! Lied about perks of room booked. Booked casino rate that said able to drink free while gambling. Booked two rooms at that rate for four people but I was only one who got free drinks and service was ridiculously slow.
First time out of that dock at PC. Efficient! Booked own excursions off ship because they were cheaper. Was able to book private excursions for the four of us off ship instead of shared excursions on ship and still cheaper.
Told on ship to be careful in Cozumel with excursions booked off ship. I think it was just a ploy to get you to book theirs. Have never had a problem before. It did scare my family to not doing excursion there.
Booked private excursion myself through Viator with Michael. I’d been to Roatan before so I wanted my family to see about five places for sure. I told him where I really wanted to go and he could choose what else to show us. He took us everywhere I asked and more. He even took us to grocery store to buy more soft drinks to take back on ship. Very friendly, knowledgeable guy. Could have been friends if we lived there. Great experience!
We always walk our luggage off to get on the road faster. I’d guess 3/4 of passengers did it on our cruise. Very busy but walked directly off without slowing down. Great considering how many people we’re getting off the ship that way.
Sounds like a great cruise. Glad you had such a great time. We are so looking forward to the Cruise. 95% of the Cemments gave been good, so best to believe them.
