You might want to choose a dining time if you want to eat in the dining room - "any time" dining is very crowded. We ended up eating upstairs in the buffet a couple of times when the crowds were too much for us - and both food and service upstairs are good!

Its a small ship so don't expect to do much shopping onboard. Going through the canal find a deck that does not have windows all around to view the locks and go very early to get your spot, some were there at 5 in the morning. If you have a balcony it is a wonderful experience right from there.

Attend as many of the educational and port lectures as you can! At least on the cruise we were on they did not just emphasize the jewelry buying opportunites.

The library is nice if you can get one the leather chairs. If you write something on the menu that is not listed, you will get it.

Just make sure you have clothes for pretty cold weather and rain! You probably won't use the outdoor pool much unless you are tough!

Needs refurnishment, many passengers complain about the shower with only hot water and poor AC in dining and recreation areas. I spoke to a few.

Get to the auditorium early if you want to see a show. Book your excursion through a travel agent before the cruise. Better excursions at a better price.
