Didn't seem like there were too many children on this cruise and most of the ones I came across were well behaved. Agree that the Star lounge is overcrowded in the evenings. Mind you that area was at it's best when Rock the Boat used to be on the ship. Our main concerns were with the food choices and quality and the fact that the Olive or Twist bar has been spoilt late in the evenings. Still enjoyed our cruise although it didn't seem quite as good as previous ones. As for the staff they are still wonderful.

The kids were so annoying on the Independence last year when I went, even before the refurbishment - too many parents thinking everyone is entranced by their child running riot, when in fact people are just finding them annoying!! It’s a shame they have made this ship even more geared towards kids!! 🙂

They're updating them with more rooms for more people, don't realize that it could mean the end of happy people wanting to cruise.
