Don't get a balcony room. It's not worth the cost. It's the same as an ocean view room with a tiny balcony that barely fits 2 chairs yet costs a thousand dollars more.

Awesome ship if your not too much into activities. When embarking and disembarking, you need patience for always standing in lines. Ship design and process cannot handle 2500 people getting on and off easily.

For example: Room service coffee is the only good complimentary coffee (much better than in the dining room or buffet). De-caf coffee is not available in the bars. The fitness Center is well equipped. There is no dedicated outdoor track for running / walking. Pizzeria pizza is outstanding.

Covered pool was nice but it didn't get warm enough to try. The ultimate drink package was awesome! The dinner staff was above normal and our two waiters were terrific. We booked both night the crab shack was available and really enjoyed our dinner. Except for the last stop weather was cool but su

Layer your clothes. Dress for dinner - its fun. Sleep in.... the days get long when you are inside all day. Download the app Princess@Sea... it was a life saver. Sabotinis (spelling?) was the best meal on the ship.

a lot of people and many who gorge themselves on the food and their bodies reflect it. The kids took over most of the pools and the spas unless you went all the way to the back of the ship

Don't do it. 10 days at sea - 5 of which are on the ocean and boring as hell. If you don't drink, gamble, or eat yourself into a food coma, your only option for these 5 days is to watch worthless "entertainment", play trivia for the 1000000000th time, or sleep. The ship is old and rickety. This trip sucked. If you want to go to Alaska, take a plane and see the place...it's quite amazing outside of the couple of hours the ship gives you to see and do things. Waste.

I would say that if you want to really enjoy your trip, go to the Cruise Desk as soon as you get on board to sign up for the ship tour. It was $150 each, but worth every penny. We saw everything, from the mooring deck to the bridge and everything in between.

The ship is very large and if you have mobility issues you may want to use a walker or wheel chair to get from one place to another. For people without mobility issues, it is a great way to get long walks in everyday, We also really liked that they had a self-service laundry facility with 6 washers and 6 dryers. You paid for this service with your seacard and tokens came out to use to buy the soap and use for the washer and dryer. Not a big deal for a lot of people, but we prefer to bring home clean clothes :)
