For the price and experience, probably would not do it again...
Too much of ships personal trying to sell things and not enough activities. They were having art auctions. Seriously, who takes a cruise to buy art priced in thousands of dollars? Come on man!!!
Embarkation
1 out of 5
Had to stand in line for 1 hour just to drop off bags. Something went wrong in the bag check process at pier. Princess would not explain or offer an apology for what happened.
Got on ship just in time for departure.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
1/3 of the bartenders had attitudes as if the passengers were annoying to them. The rest were awesome.
Food was real good no matter where you got it from.
Dining room drink service was super slow. But everything else in dining room was awesome.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Princess golf and bingo. Nothing else looked interesting as they were mostly sales seminars.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Comedian had too much energy and rambled on. Very hard to follow.
Children's Programs
No kids
Service and Staff

Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Design was poor, but being a first of its generation, I get it...
Common areas were maintained very well for being a 20 year old ship
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Rear corner cabin was awesome when it came to view and privacy. I will certainly look for a cabin like this one in future.
Carpets were in bad need of cleaning.
Bathroom always had a outhouse smell to it.
Toilet had small leak and after calling maintenance, no one came to fix it.
Ship tip
Awesome ship if your not too much into activities.
When embarking and disembarking, you need patience for always standing in lines. Ship design and process cannot handle 2500 people getting on and off easily.
Glacier helicopter and one hour trek was awesomeness.
Too many other ships in port. This made it difficult to enjoy the port downtown areas, stores and restaurants.
Had to leave stateroom at 8:00am. Disembark time for us was 10:20am. Had to linger around ship for 2 1/2 hours with nothing to do. That kind of sucked.
A general rule of thumb on any cruise line...if they offer a lecture in the main theater it is worth while...if they offer it anywhere else or you see the term "seminar" it will be a sales pitch
I have not bought art on a ship but I'm glad the cruise lines have found a way to make profit other than raising rates. Since most ships have had successful art auctions for decades, I think the answer to your question is, thousands and thousands of people.
