A video on navigating ship areas would be nice.

Walkers ...go to deck 7....Three times around this deck is a mile. Great views and very few passengers.

Grand Princess was a good ship to travel on overall

Schedule your daily activities carefully. Do not try to do too much. Stop and smell the roses and spend quality time relaxing.

Try activities that you are not sure you will like. Never know you just might find it fun or funny

good experience and would recommend it to others.

If you go to hawaii on the grand princess avoid the cruise tours and do your own tours

DO NOT SAIL! Food is not edible! Get rid of your chef!
Tito1958
Explore the ship and make a mental note of landmarks so not to get lost.

Get a balcony room.

Do not expect World Class Entertainment, lower your expectations.

Don't forget to have Tea in the afternoon at the DaVinci. Save room, however. We were never not full on the trip. ;)

This cruise appeals to an older crowd who arrive early to events (dinners and shows) and then try to save seats until they are told by other passengers or the staff (only once) that isn't allowed.

The ship is old and needs to be refurbished with modern things.
columbia
Don’t bother booking a balcony. The extra cost isn’t worth it.

Wait staff and cabin staff always provide excellent service. Food in all areas is above average.

It's a great ship, never felt crowded, except when trying to get off in Ensenada Mexico. We were there for only 4 hours and after being at sea for 4 days everyone was trying to get off the ship at the same time. so it was quite crowded.
