Excellent Mexican Riviera Cruise. The ports of call were so nice because they are being upgraded very nicely.

Review summary

I highly recommend this cruise. The ship is relaxing and has plenty for guest to do.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation is so smooth and free of any snags. Wish airline boarding was half this good.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The dining rooms were dated. The decor could stand a fresh update. The specialty restaurants are first class in decor and dining experience.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Pop Choir is so much fun. The group meetings are well organized. The open dining is a great place to meet very nice international people.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The stage shows could be better. The dancers were nice but the comedians were not funny.

Children's Programs

No kids with us.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Our room steward like always is do attentive of everything we need to be comfortable.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship layout is nice, however, it could stand a remodel.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Everything we need is there. The Princess bed is "sooooo" comfortable.

Ship tip

Explore the ship and make a mental note of landmarks so not to get lost.

Ports of call

San Francisco, California

4 out of 5
Well organized. No problems.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
This town has cleaned up so much that exploring is easy and safe.

Manzanillo, Mexico

4 out of 5
Small town but many stores were closed when the ship arrived.

Mazatlan, Mexico

5 out of 5
The malecon is in the process of a fantastic upgrade for safety and appeal. Many old and unsightly buildings have been replaced with new buildings. Our tour guide was thorough and took time to show us everything we asked.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

5 out of 5
The Marina restaurants and shopping can't be beat. The Marina is always getting better. Vendors are not pushy.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Could not have been smoother.
