Review summary

Very effective involvement with Southeastern Alaska with good viewings from the balcony. Attended with a company of 8, 4 brothers and their wives. After the first night, we had to make arrangements to dine together, as we were not placed with each other by the cruise ship, even though we scheduled together.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Above average, although sometimes with food and traffic problems.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Game playing good in the upper deck. Fitness Center good. Other games and events were average.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Some were excellent and some were average or boring.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Very attentive and compassionate.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Quite comfortable.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Lots of areas for storage. Good cleanliness. The downside was the steel railing blocking the ocean view.

Ship tip

They are able to stop in Glacier Bay and Sitka.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

4 out of 5
Easy to embark here. No official excursions---personal walking and involvements.

Cruise Puget Sound

4 out of 5
Interesting views.

CRUISE STEPHENS PASSAGE

4 out of 5
Good visions.

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
Interesting city. Excursion to the Mendenhall Glacier was done, but not through the cruise line as there were better offers.

Cruise Glacier Bay

5 out of 5
Magnificent scenery and atmosphere, with good weather while were were there.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

3 out of 5
Moderate. Rainy, night time prevented gondola use. Interesting information on fish canning. No excursion other than personal walks.

Sitka, Alaska

5 out of 5
Fun place to visit and walk around. 100% rain dampened the activities but there were still many things to see and visit. No excursion needed, as walking to different places was the best way to visit.

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
Most beautiful day, unlikely in Ketchikan. NO rain! Non cruise excursion was done with interest and content.

Victoria, British Columbia

3 out of 5
Long walk from the port to town. Night time offered only minor interesting events and activities and sight-seeing. No official excursion done.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy and quick.
