Review summary

This was my first Alaska cruise, and I definitely picked the right line. I loved going to Alaska on HAL. I'm not the "party cruise" type. This was a relaxing, and upscale experience. The EXC talks in the World Stage really enhanced my cruise. I learned so much about Alaska and the ports before I had even arrived. The entertainment was top-notch. I would definitely recommend Eurodam to anyone.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and painless. The Port of Seattle seems to have things running very smoothly. I think that might have been one of my quickest embarkations ever.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I loved the main dining room. Everything I ordered was excellent. I generally avoid buffets, so I can't speak to the quality of the buffet, but the dining room and New York Pizza were both delicious!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I used the aft hot tub once, which was very pleasant. The casino was enjoyable. I loved that it was non-smoking.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The Step One Dance Company put on a couple of excellent shows. They were some of the best I've seen on any cruise line. I also really enjoyed Billboard Onboard. It was so much fun to hear them play.

Children's Programs

I do not have children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was very friendly and pleasant to deal with, from the cabin stewards to the dining room servers. Everyone was welcoming and had a smile on their face.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship is very easy to navigate and is well laid out. The ship rarely felt crowded, which I really appreciated. It felt, clean, modern, and well-appointed.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
My cabin suited my needs very well. It was clean and well laid out. It didn't feel cramped. Everything from lights to outlets to the TV worked well. I loved the spacious shower, as many cruise ship showers can feel very tight. The balcony was great and spacious! I spent so much time out there on this cruise.

Ship tip

Eurodam is fantastic for a relaxing, premium feeling cruise experience. The ship is beautiful. The staff is friendly. It doesn't feel crowded.

I was in cabin 4173, 5-13-23. Agree the Eurodam is a nice ship to get around. My shower was just big enough for me. Glad you had a good cruise.
