Ship smaller so more suitable for 3-4 days cruises. I did not like how the hot tubs and pools closed so early in evening - like 8pm. Pool areas WAY crowded - wouldnt recommend ship if you are a pool person.

Having a walkie-talkie is very useful if you are vacationing with others. The ship is a big ship and you won't have cell phone reception most of the time out at sea. WiFI cost extra and is not free.

Enjoy and explore the ship as much as you can! There will be always an event happening or a place you did not know yet. Do watch the shows in the theatre. They are awesome! Take a jacket to the dining room in the evening, because the air conditioner is really high! Bring some cash to tip the staff!

Someone said in a previous review "get your table first for seating in the Windjammer" which made me think I had to bum-rush everyone in order to ever get a window seat... not the case, we got a window seat every time. The tables by the window are a mass all along the bow curve, yay!

If you have sailed on the Oasis or the Allure - Don't sail on the Enchantement of the Seas. It doesn't have the same quality as the Oasis or the Allure.

The Windjammer gets very crowded, especially at breakfast. Get a table 1st & then get your food. They always stop by to take drink orders, singer your OJ from the waiters. The OJ at the beverage station is watered down & not mixed well.

I like the fact that lifeguards are now stationed at every pool. I did not travel with young children but I like the life vests that are provided for little ones.

Be ready for all the kids. We had a group of girls down the hall from us and every night around 3 AM they would go running up and down the halls and yelling, waking everyone up. The kids were everywhere on this ship.

Book one of the newer ships. The food sucked & the pool area was dirty. If you do take a chance on this ship, don't walk on the pool deck barefoot! My daughter sustained burns on the soles of her feet when she got out of the pool & couldn't find her flip flops. Also, don't leave your drinks unattended. The crew snagged our pina coladas & beer (untouched! Completely full!) When my husband and I were carrying our daughter with her burned feet back to our table. We were gone less that 2 minutes & our drinks disappeared.

Don't go. Select another ship (NCL) for a weekend or go to a nice hotel. It will cost the same money and you will not be trapped on a virtual scrap heap.

Just relax. Go to the shows and meet new people. The beverage package didn´t pay off for us so we won´t be doing that again, but go, expect nothing, and be amazed.
