Review summary
My wife and I paid for 8 people 7-8 months in advance. Just to have every step of the trip to be nothing but work. Since when should your vacation be work!? First they changed the itinerary. Shortening our time in the Bahama's. And didn't even offer any type of compensation. Instead they said I and the 8 others should just tell our employers they should just allow us to change the dates of our vacation time to allot for their itinerary change. An absolute smack in the face! What an insult! Let's see them call our employers up and make this request.
So being stuck with what they did we decided to deal with it and enjoy what we could. Show up to get on the boat just to find out we would not be getting all the on board credits told we'd get. And, What happened when questioned. Everyone pointed their finger at the other person.
Then moving on to the next headache. The photography company they use to take drones picture's on board cost me a lose of savings because none of them could give a straight answer during the time spent emailing back and forth. Caused my wife and I to chase them down for missing pictures. Only to be promised they'd all be found. Only to discover they didn't give us at least 30 pictures from various
moments.
Then we show up in Key West only to find our excursion was canceled. Get told we can get a refund or take an alternate excursion. We opted to take the refund. Only to hear they can't help us. Only those who made their plans directly through Royal Caribbean were being offered the refund. Are you serious! I had to threaten to have my credit card company to dispute all charges for everything, just to get them to do anything to help.
And the icing on the cake that caused my final thoughts. When my wife and I went to customer relations to settle up our final bill, the representative wouldn't even look us in the face. He would just mumble something and then start starring off into the crowd as if we didn't exist. We had to tell him the same thing 6 to 7 times to get him to understand that only 4 of the items charged to our account were tho be charged to my stepson's credit card. And the rest of the charges from the 3 rooms are to be charged to mine. That many times just goes to show how little our business mattered. Needless to say, I will not be returning anytime soon, if ever.
