Was a decent cruise but wasn’t the best by hbeth24

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

Overall food could improve because that’s one reason i like to cruise to get good foods besides the ports. But it was almost disappointing everytime you ordered something if it would be good or not. One night nothing sounded good so i paid for a chops grille filet. Just could use more pizazz.

Wondeful time with a great crew! by Gramby6

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Since this is the begining of cruising after the Pandemic, there are changes that everyone needs to be understanding of.Remember to be polite to staff. They are doing their best to make our vacation a good one and somethings they can't control.

Relaxing but not up to expectations by VAcruisemate

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

The passengers and crew were as friendly as ever. It was wonderful being on a ship without facemasks and getting to meet new people at shared tables.

Mostly hits with a few notable misses. by VAcruisenut

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

This was our third cruise post-covid and had more hiccups than our Seattle / Ovation cruise or our Tampa / Brilliance cruise. Next cruise is on Celebrity and we're hoping for customer service with a touch of class.

I always love sailing royal Caribbean. This cruise did not disappoint. The staff impressed as always. South Carolina cruise port was the only downfall.

AVOID NOISY ROOM 3642 by RetiredSignDude

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

Avoid Room 3642. NOISE was untenable. Ruined the trip for us. Every minute about a three second sound appeared. Sounded like a ship's horn, but probably a pump with a float

I got what I paid for, and I'm grateful, but............ by teresafor

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I suggest cruising later in the season. I cruised February 25. Four of the seven days were too cold to use the balcony. I never wore a pair of shorts until Coco Cay and Nassau. The other days I wore pants all day. Wore long sleeves, sweaters. People were buying sweatshirts and putting them on in the stores. One day I wore my coat, a hat, and wrapped up with an extra towel. I enjoyed the sun for less than one hour on my #7522 balcony. I suggest Spend money on a cruise in weather warm enough to appreciate your balcony purchase. Maybe April?

Was everything we needed! Made new friends and spent lots of time with a long one. Only got off in Charleston and don’t regret it. Loved the storm the first night and day two; rocking and rolling ship ❤️

Disappointed, but still able to enjoy myself by redskins7

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I’m happy I was able to spend time with friends I hadn’t had the opportunity to enjoy since COVID. With weather and travel cancellations, I was happy to be a 45 minutes drive to the port. All in all, the trip was great because of who I shared it with, not the ports of call, not stateroom size, the food or the entertainment. In the scheme of things, in today’s environment I feel blessed to be able to cruise. Overall, I’m glad I went.

Very Good Cruise by Noncapisco

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

While I had a time getting back on the ship, I had another very nice cruise. Also, I heard they got hit with snow while I was gone and was happy I missed it. I'll definitely be doing more January cruises to get away from the cold. The ports were fine with this being my first time to Freeport. I didn't do many tours on this cruise because I've been to these ports before barring Freeport. I've been to Nassau 7 or 8 times. The ship is a very good ship and will be sorry it's leaving Baltimore next year. I would recommend this cruise to folks.

Detroit vs. Cowboys by tepid89

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

Had a wonderful Southern Caribbean cruise. Even our magnets had fun. One of the couples down the hall was a Detroit fan like my husband. He would move our magnets with Detroit always being on top, 🤭!

Better Than Expected Cruise by Noncapisco

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

As I said in my title, the cruise went better than expected. We only missed 1 port (St. Croix) because we had too many cases of COVID (1.2%). As I understand it, they got the infected crew members off the ship at St. Maarten and, we didn't miss another port. BTW, we went to Antigua in place of St. Lucia where I got do a very nice walking tour of St. John. As I understand it, we had around 40% occupancy which was unreal. There was no problem getting a Centrum or pool chair. This made it easy to social distance barring the hallways. Overall, barring the Windjammer dinner issue, I was very pleased with this cruise. It did go better than I thought it would.

It was ok by jbrooke1221

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

This was before Covid, so hopefully the ship has berm spruced up. Our room had torn curtains, the toilet backed up causing the room to stink, lots of scuffs and scratches all over the ship.
