Overall it was what we wanted and expected, relaxing, indulgent, and fun.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
From the moment we entered the port till we were on the ship eating lunch was only about 35 minutes.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Overall the food was good, however, there were a few misses. We had dinner every night I'm the dinning room, the food was typically very good. We ate lunch in the buffet, nothing better than a cheese burger everyday for lunch, yummy. If we decide to get up for breakfast we sometimes had in the dining room and sometimes in the buffet, always good, yogurt with granola, fruit and scrambled eggs my breakfast of choose. Food on Coco Cay was great as always.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Always lots to do if you want or you could just sit in or around the pool all day. We spent some time just relaxing at the pool or in the hot tub. Did a pub crawl, had a blast with a bunch of people from a FB cruise group, now many are friends. Did a cruise long scavenger hunt that required us to interact with the crew to find out where they were from, this was so much fun.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Live music around the ship was always wonderful. The production show was okay not the greatest but still entertaining. The comedian was fantastic and the Lance Ringnald show was fun, educational and fabulous.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Crew and staff were friendly, helpful and on top of everything. Our room steward went above and beyond for us several times. Our waite staff in the dining room were friendly, fast and knew what we liked by the second night, the assistant waiter knew we loved the cheese rolls, so she made sure every evening to start dinner we had them fresh and warm. Bartenders made for us great virgin drinks and even did special requests. Because of the scavenger hunt we spoke with many crew members and all were so gracious.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship is a little on the old side but very clean and comfortable. Because it is a small ship was easy to navigate around.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was a standard balcony stateroom that was comfortable and clean. Beds could have been more comfortable but the pillows were great.

Ship tip

This ship doesn't have all the bells and whistles like the bigger ships do but your on vacation to relax so on the Enchantment it's easy to just relax and enjoy your time at sea. You can get your overall excitement at the ports where you can make as much as you want.

Ports of call

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

3 out of 5
Not really much you can do from the port, just a little shopping area, a few places for food and drink and live music. To get to the beaches or nature areas you have to book an excursion. We got off the ship and just walked around the port area perused the shops, listened to the music and bought a few t-shirts.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
Lots of fun when the weather is good. For free you have beaches, play area for kids, fresh water Oasis lagoon, and plenty of food. There are several excursions like the water park, balloon ride(Up Up and Away) and the exclusive beach club. We did the water park in the past and it was a blast. Twice now we tried to do the ballon but weather was against us both times. According to the crew working on the island it only flies about 30% of the time because of the winds.

Charleston, South Carolina

5 out of 5
For a small port it is in a very active little city. There is so much you can do in walking distance and there are some really great excursions. The charge rides are very educational and so is the ghost tour. Two great places that should be offered as excursions, one being the South Carolina Aquarium which is in working distance of the port. The second being the Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum in Mt Pleasant just across the Cooper River where you can explore the USS Yorktown and the Laffey, so much to do and see.

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
There is so much you can do here. We have done in the past Kennedy Space Center (NASA), this trip we did the Island Boat Lines Nature Tour of the Indian River Lagoon then we walked to Ron Jon Surf Shop to buy a few t-shirts. There was a lots you could do in this port on your own if you wanted since there are to local bus stops right outside the RCCL terminal.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Do to a mechanical issue at our last port delaying the ship even though the Captain did make up most of the lost time there was a delay in the luggage so we had to waite about a half hour before going through customs.
