Review summary

Was everything we needed! Made new friends and spent lots of time with a long one. Only got off in Charleston and don’t regret it. Loved the storm the first night and day two; rocking and rolling ship ❤️

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Fast! As we got towards the terminal door, directed to suites line. No wait; walked right through. Had passports, vaccine cards, and Covid test results in hand. Husband on a scooter and rolled through security just fine. Ramp up to 4th floor of ship burned his battery 😂 but we made it. Crew was going onto ship on deck 2 or 2; wish they allowed scooters/wheelchairs do that.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining room good. Aneesh, Carlo, & Ferdinand took great care of us on table 101. Ate breakfast there and lunch on sea days. Port days had lunch in Windjammer. No problems with servers helping put food on plate; actually nice! Food good. Always had coffee delivered to our room in the mornings. Handicapped Junior Suite 8108. Had Lavazza coffee maker but too strong for us so I used it to make hot tea at bedtime. Note: food not as “lavish” pre Covid but who cared. It was good. I ordered from Kids and Vegan menus a lot at night.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Didn’t do activities other than sit by pool a couple of days. I learned to play slots in the Casino. Came home with more than I gambled!!! Hope I’m not hooked 😂

Entertainment

3 out of 5
No lavish Broadway like shows. Did hear some good music on different decks.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Can’t say enough about how great it and they were! Mercy at Guest Services found my husband’s special cap. It had been lost for seven days and everyday Casino told me Guest Services had but they didn’t. Last night I tried again. Mercy found it guess where: Casino!! Jayson, Concierge, was the most compassionate person taking special care of a solo friend with mobility problems. He went above and beyond!!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Small but easy to navigate! Staff constantly cleaning!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great cabin. Roomy! Walk-in shower with fold down seat. Larger balcony. Loved it!

Ship tip

Just know this ship isn’t all the glitz and glitter. If you want that, book a larger ship. This ship will hug you if you let her. Explore her and find you special place
