This was by far the best family trip we have ever been on. This is also the first experience we had with Disney. We were sad that it was over and can't wait to do it again. We had such a good experience we want to go on this same cruise again. The only advice I have for other families is to not feel pressure to go on excursions the boat is an excursion in itself. It was a blast and we became close to our Stateroom Host, Server, Asst. Server and Head Server. They made the trip. They had such great personalities and were so nice to see everyday. Thank you Disney for such a memorable trip!!

Wish I had gone on this cruise years ago when my children were young, but I didn't find it was the right fit for my husband and me as a couple. I would highly recommend for younger couples with younger children.

Overall, we had a great time and will likely consider Disney again for a family cruise. The kids loved the characters. The service and cleanliness were very impressive. We truly missed the calypso music at the pool that we were accustomed to from other ships (Royal and Carnival). Even an hour or two a day with music at the pool would be a nice break from 24/7 Disney movies.

I WILL NEVER DO A DISNEY CRUISE AGAIN. If you are a hardcore disney fan and can stand disney movies 24/7 then you would probably enjoy this cruise line. It was the worst cruise I have ever been on. Boring........

Poor experience. Will never do again. Several issues occurred during this trip that will not encourage me to return. First the irons on the ship were defective and distroyed my gown. Guest services was not helpful. Finding broken glass in my cup was an unpleasant experience...

If you have a family with young children--or even if it's a couple's vacation--a Caribbean cruise with Disney on the Fantasy is hard to beat. There truly is something on board for everyone, no matter their age. The cabins, on board entertainment, and friendliness of the staff is the best we've seen yet.

We are 2 grandparents who wanted to share our 5oth wedding anniversary with our 3 children, their spouses, and our 5 grandchildren. The Disney Kids Clubs were perfect to insure all the grandchildren had a wonderful experience. The adult children had a super time as well. This was truly was a memory of a life time. Everyone had a terrific time.

This was the best vaction I've ever experienced.  Will be back next year on another Disney Cruise Line.  My family enjoyed everthing on this trip from the meals thru entertainment.  Ports was amazing and the staff is soooooo nice.

EVERYTHING was 100 % + .... Nothing could use ANY improvement!  Would certainly recommend a Disney cruise to others.  From top to bottom ("stem to stern") a Disney cruise is THE BEST!

This was a great cruise including all the excursions.  Everything was amazingly clean, great service from everyone I encountered, and great food as expected.   My biggest pet peeve is their photo package is $350.  Otherwise specialty drinks where reasonably priced.

I paid for a shore excursion and when I arrived and checked into guest services there was no record of the transaction even though it had been taken out of my account. Who do I contact about a refund so that I can recoup the money that I had to pay to do the shore excursion through guest services on the ship?

The theme days provided great fun for kids of all ages.  It would be nice if Disney could provide some adult bands for ballroom dancing.  This would have been icing on the cake.

We had the deluxe family stateroom with balcony.  This is an excellent stateroom, the shower is very good and there is a lot or room in the stateroom.  The cruise was during spring break, so there were more kids the usual on the cruise, but this also meant that the adult areas were not as crowded as on some cruises.

 Our waitstaff and room steward were excellent! The rest of the Disney Staff  were fair to poor. There was inadequate supervision of children on the waterslide.  Fellow passengers were obnoxious, taking deck chairs  that had our things on them while we were supervising children in the pool, or taking them to the bathroom, or getting them something to eat.   There late night banquet was nothing more than being served cafeteria style the same type of food we were served for lunch daily.   The screws fell way short of my expectations from what I have experienced on Royal Caribbean cruises in the past. Disney cruises are expensive,     And they never have sale prices for their cruises.   This is my first and last Disney cruise with my grandchildren  as my grandsons reply to the question what was your most favorite part of the cruise? His reply was being on a big ship! Not the characters that the Waterslide--just being on a big ship!  For $9000.00 for three adults and two children under the ago of 4 I expected more from Disney!  I will sail Royal Caribbean any day versus Disney!  

We just cruised to the western Caribbean on the Disney Fantasy.  My wife and I took our Mom's for their 80th birthdays, so no kids in our party.  It's so hard to say what our favorite thing was about this awesome cruise.  Staff and Disney service and crew were all top notch.  The shows were all outstanding, especially compared to other cruise lines.  There is no comparison to Disney.  

The Star Wars day is not to be missed.  Characters everywhere.  We had our photos taken with Darth Vader and then Chewbaka, who talked in their actual movie voices.  Chewie gave everyone hugs before the photo.  The 'imperial police' questioned the Mom's for gambling (they were playing cards) and told them they needed a permit from the Emperor.  We saw them 3 hours later and they said "there are the ladies with the gambling problem" and again asked for their documentation and gambling permit.  The Animators Palate restaurant was unbelievable.  We drew cartoons on place mats before dinner, and then watched them come to life in animation on the TV screens later during the meal.  And if you haven't been to Castaway Cay, it's paradise.  

All in all this was about as perfect a cruise as you can get.  Both Mom's have booked to go back with us next year.  

Cruise was amazing. Maybe a little less people would have made it perfect. Service was excellent. Could have had more food choices. Kids had an absolute blast and that is what matters. Star Wars day was cool but needed more character appearances. 

Disney knows how to throw a party. Very clean accommodations and great attention to all details. No worries on the transportation when you take the Disney Magical Express from Orlando (MCO) Airport to the cruise ship at port Canaveral.

Great staff and food. Concierge is definitely the way to go. Palo restaurant, yes. Remy, no---too pretentious. Food in regular three dining rooms excellent as was the food in Cabanas. The Concierge lounge provided a place for snacks and a glass of wine or a bottle of Evian at any time. The three Concierges (and one assistant and bartender) were very helpful---special assistance with excursions and embarkation and debarkation, friendly conversation at any hour---and popcorn!

This was a beautiful ship with lots of fun and activities for my two princesses.  The girls enjoyed meeting the princesses and other characters, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, the Oceaneers' Lab and Club, and all Disney has to offer. It was great to have some adult time while the children played as well. The Disney Fantasy is one of the most beautiful ships I have ever been on and this is about my 10th cruise.  The ship was decorated beautifully for Christmas. 

I had an incredible time on the Disney Fantasy!  I went the week before Christmas and returned home on Christmas eve.  The ship was beautifully decorated with Christmas theme decor.  Their attention to detail cannot be matched!  The food was good and the staff and customer service was superior.  It was a large family group that I travelled with and the kids in our group had a ball and the age range was 4-16!  They had neat activities for each age group.  My favorite part was the spa!  They services and staff was incredible!  It was a fantastic trip and I would recommend any family to take at least one Disney cruise!  Thanks AA for taking good care of me!  I will book through you again!!!
