Review summary

Our waitstaff and room steward were excellent! The rest of the Disney Staff were fair to poor. There was inadequate supervision of children on the waterslide. Fellow passengers were obnoxious, taking deck chairs that had our things on them while we were supervising children in the pool, or taking them to the bathroom, or getting them something to eat. There late night banquet was nothing more than being served cafeteria style the same type of food we were served for lunch daily. The screws fell way short of my expectations from what I have experienced on Royal Caribbean cruises in the past. Disney cruises are expensive, And they never have sale prices for their cruises. This is my first and last Disney cruise with my grandchildren as my grandsons reply to the question what was your most favorite part of the cruise? His reply was being on a big ship! Not the characters that the Waterslide--just being on a big ship! For $9000.00 for three adults and two children under the ago of 4 I expected more from Disney! I will sail Royal Caribbean any day versus Disney!

Very nice with the veranda (balcony) and our room steward, Weldon did a fantastic job of keeping our room clean and orderly!

Ship tip

Don't have high expectations so you won't be disappMy expectations were high after all the positive hype I heard from reservation personnel (4 different people) when I was dealing with them about various matters before the cruise. Apparently, Disney must be the only cruise Lines they have sailed.

This is not true for 99% of the cruises. We've done disney plenty of times and nothing but good things to say about it. The service is unbeatable and you can't give a cruise line a bad review over the fact that other people are rude. I would have to say if the lifeguard supervision isn't good for the slides then you probably shouldn't have your kids on the water slides or even in the pool considering how small they are. We've also done royal Caribbean many times and would have to say they are about tied but disney would definetly get the knock for who's better

Have to do Disney at least once but for the price you can do 3 cruises and have as much fun!
