The Crown Princess truly is beautiful. The staff, food, entertainment and amenities, are all excellent.

This ship is worth upgrading to a mini suite if possible. The rates are excellent. The food and service is to die for. We received a pleasent surprise of a spacious area divided into sitting and sleeping areas with 2 TV sets. Room service was speedy and exeptional in service and quality. Just ask for it and you got it. Sleeping was heaven sent. Duvet down comforters and huge down pillows. No backache till I got home into my own bed. Balconies are spacious and actually have a table, chairs and a stool included for dining or drinks. The ultimate private experience in sunning and dining. The crew is respectful and friendly. They actually remember your name and always say "hello How is your day?" The ship was magnificant. Better than royal. If you like elaborate settings with comfort than this ship is for you. First class all the way.

The ship was beautiful, the food was excellent, except for coffee, which varied in taste and the desserts were pretty, but bland overall. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. I suggest more shaded chaises,poolside. There was too much commercialism for the cruise line and things were expensive, pictures, etc. There is an automatic additional gratuity for all beverages and every receipt has a line for you to add additional gratuity, so pay attention!! Some crew were excellent, some were rude .I overheard murmurings about passengers and general unhappiness from some crew. It was unpleasant to not receive good customer service at each encounter. One of our excursions was cancelled and were notified by a note we found on our door when we were leaving for lunch. The note also said we needed to go get our refund that day within a particular time frame, (we should have been automatically given a refund if the tour was cancelled, why would we have to go and get it?) when we went for the refund, we were told it was too late to book an alternate. This was very disappointing, we should have been contacted right away, not when the booking time was finished.

I prefer one grand dinning room instead of three separate ones.

The ship is very beautiful and the movies under the stars was great. We were very happy with the design of our room, the deck space on each deck and the lounge areas are very inviting.

This was both my first cruise and honeymoon and my time with you has left a life time lasting memory that my wife make me promise to do this at least once every year or every other. I gladly promised

This was only the second cruise for the Crown Princess, and the first time the ship/crew sailed this itinerary which may explain some problems. The Shore Excursion desk staff had limited knowledge of options for non-tour based options. The immigration process into San Juan was a nightmare - waited for 1.5 hours in a line that stretched the length of the ship 2x to be "processed" (all passengers on ship were cleared through ONE lounge?!?). Food was good overall, but the design of the buffet was less than optimal (lots of bumping into passengers without enough room to move between food "bars"). What's with paying for ice cream? 3000+ passengers and the Snowball Jackpot Bingo pot was only $2500 after a 9-day cruise? Good sized casino and a good casino staff. Anytime dining can be good or bad depending on your preferences. This was a good cruise overall, but less than I expected from a Princess Cruise - they could learn a lot from the 2003 crew assigned to the Regal Princess that sailed the Baltic.

Really the cruise was great, my only complaint was the food in the buffet and the length of time you spend in the main dining rooms.

With the free drink package, we had some days that we had tequila parties and enjoyed the sea days. We have never had a drink package on any previous cruise that we have been on, so it was hard to do 15 drinks a day. I think the most was 7 on a few days, I don’t know how people do the 15 drinks. With everything being free on this cruise and the great balcony upgrade for $80 total this cruise was by far the best one we had been on so far. Hopefully the March 2023 Caribbean cruise will be as great as this cruise was, with it all being free too.

Great weather and local people hospitality was nice.

Staff were friendly, efficient, and top notch. This ship is dated but well maintained.

This cruise was "sold" as an "Inside Passage" cruise and we did not travel on the inside passage. It is unclear exactly why the itinerary was changed just weeks before sailing. We did not receive any communication from the cruise line that this was happening, even though it would appear to me that they knew FAR in advance that this was going to be the case. We did not get to visit Ketchikan, which is a favorite port, and stopped in Icy Point as a lame alternative. For the amount of money that we paid for this cruise, Princess DID NOT deliver. Not being notified these changes until the "last minute", made it impossible to to make any alternate plans. We were pretty much "stuck". This trip was a family cruise and possibly the last trip for my elderly parents. They wanted to go on the Alaska Inside Passage trip because it had been one of their favorite cruises that they had done in the past. We were all EXTREMELY disappointed. My Dad was excited about seeing the glaciers and then for some reason (that was not communicated), we did not get the full tour of the glacier park and missed seeing the best part of the park (Johns Hopkins area.) I was celebrating a birthday and indicated as such but the day came and went with nothing special happening except a "Happy Birthday" on my digital door display. My sister ended up saying something to a crew member and I did get a birthday song and special dessert on another night. Had she not said anything though, nothing would have happened. Don't ask if a special occasion is being celebrated if you aren't going to do anything extra because of it. I believe there may have been something wrong with the ship that ultimately resulted in a sub par experience for my family. This is the companies responsibility and I feel some compensation should be given to the guests on this cruise because clearly, Princess DID NOT deliver on the trip that we all paid for. I don't know if I can trust Princess in the future and will likely look at other cruise lines for future cruises. Also, the cruise line APP in not very user friendly and it froze often or didn't work at all. The medallions used for "billing" aren't very accurate and a lot of mistakes are made on what gets charged to who. Also, the billing is not very specific so it is hard to tell what you are really being charged for. (More scam.)

Enough big and small disappointments that we probably will never travel on princess cruises again. The big issues resulted in us not receiving the cruise we signed up for…Changes to ports, canceled shore excursions. More time at sea than anticipated. Undisclosed obstructed views from our suite. The small issues included Upgraded Wi-Fi package did not work. Did not receive specialty dining as advertised. Glacier Bay sanctuary upgrade did not meet expectations as described above. Billing system is horrible, spent close to 90 minutes discussing some of these issues. At some point it’s just easier to accept the additional cost than to exert all the negative energy involved in arguing the situation. Heavy sigh.

I wasn’t fond of the ship. Our cabin was less than ideal. Food and service was excellent and we met lots of friendly, interesting people. You just never know what the weather will be like in Alaska and it was cool, cloudy, and windy for our journey.

Just wanted to post cuz of Covid diagnosis. Kids loved the kids club. Was sad cuz the food sucked so bad and I’m a foodie, holland America was extraordinary. They were excellent staff.

We had a wonderful time on our Alaskan cruise. The Crown Princess is a nice ship. The food and drinks were very good. Our cabin was your average balcony cabin. The AC could have been better. All of the ports were interesting. The scenery was fabulous and Glacier Bay was unforgettable! We are looking forward to cruising Alaska again!

Despite engineering issues limiting ships speed, the crew service made up for the losses. Reimbursement for the delays also helped.

Horrible! Sketchy, not welcoming, falling apart ship! Would never go on another princess cruise and hope no one else does either for the best of themselves! If you want a stressful, boring vacation then go right ahead! If you want to be incorrectly charged money once disembarking, go ahead! If you want ports and excursions to be canceled, this is the ship for you! For me, this was a horrible experience every step of the way. Never been so disappointed. A shame and sorry excuse for a vacation!

This was our FIRST cruise and LAST on a Princess ship. We were celebrating our 50th Anniversary and the cruise line did little to show congratulations. The excuse was that there were engine problems and the ship could not travel as quickly as originally scheduled. The ship should have never left the port. We looked so forward to our first scheduled excursion and when they canceled the day of our expected tour, they gave us a $100 onboard credit, which will never cover our missed opportunities to see the places we expected to see and what we had originally purchased. Customer service has been practically nil as I was expecting a refund and was told by phone that emails take 4-6 weeks to reply and if I wanted to wait to speak to Customer Relations it would be 4-7 hour HOLD time. Totally unacceptable for a large cruise line. The staff and food was very good.
