Review summary

With the free drink package, we had some days that we had tequila parties and enjoyed the sea days. We have never had a drink package on any previous cruise that we have been on, so it was hard to do 15 drinks a day. I think the most was 7 on a few days, I don’t know how people do the 15 drinks. With everything being free on this cruise and the great balcony upgrade for $80 total this cruise was by far the best one we had been on so far. Hopefully the March 2023 Caribbean cruise will be as great as this cruise was, with it all being free too.

We had an interior room but received an email to bid on an upgrade to other rooms. I put a bid in for $40 for each person for an Oceanview room, we were given an upgrade to a balcony for the $40 price which was great, the ship wasn’t full and since we have sailed with princess several times before I think that’s why they gave us a balcony instead of an Oceanview, no complaints. So always put in the lowest bid if you know the ship isn’t full or sold out.

Ship tip

Sign up with princess on the emails, I have received so many offers through that process. This cruise to Hawaii without airfare cost us $370 each, and we got $200 of it back as onboard spending money. We also had the free drink package with service charge (75.00 Aday ) free Wi-Fi the whole trip and free gratuities paid to crew. And our next cruise to the Caribbean in March 2023 ( 14 day cruise) has all that stuff included that I just mentioned above for the same price.

Great place to spend the day. Went to the beach area, lots of shopping around everywhere. Lyft ride cost $20 from ship. Walked back to ship, did much of the shopping on the tree back to ship.

Since they changed the ports, this area is horrible, they have a small shopping area but that is it. The port on the other side of Maui is so much better.

This place was interesting, it had a downtown area that was nice, lots of shopping and food to eat. It’s a great area after an excursion to roam around and find some deals on stuff and get some local food to eat. Winery excursion was fun, after the wine kicks in it gets better,lol 🍷
