There are quiet areas in the sun aft of the pool area with lounges on the port side. It's easy to find a spot there. The open area to the aft of the cafe/buffet area is a great place to have breakfast.

Do not sail on the Summit, especially during peak season! The price of the cruise was not commensurate with the experience. The Summit is old and in need of a visit to dry dock!

Eat in the Cosmopolitan in the evenings. Enjoy the Rendouvous Lounge. Avoid the casino unless you add fun old-fashioned pinball, video, arcade games. Eat brekkies in the buffet/oceanview lounge-- way more options. Awesome late pizza also to be found in the Oceanview Lounge. Go to the Solarium at night before it closes at 9-- wonderful! Salt water pool and hot tubs!!! Peaceful and practically empty.

Go down the night before the cruise and stay at a hotel near the dock. Traffic in Miami is bad, but Rt 95 is miserable thru Daytona (bike week) and if there is a wreck you may be late.

Enjoy the food. Make sure to get involved with the different activities as they are a lot of fun. DO NOT MISS the silent disco it is the best party on the entire trip

I don’t think you can go wrong with any type of cabin. I’d suggest eating in the main dining room anytime it’s open. Such a treat.
