It was a really enjoyable cruise and just long enough. The staff Angie the cruise director and Will activities coordinator do an excellent job keep things lively. However, keep in mind that the whole month of March is spring break somewhere or another so there will be lots of children. I mean the college age people were fine it was just a lot of pre-teen and teen energy running around the ship.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
The process was painless and fairly quick except for having to sit in a waiting room for about a half an hour with everyone while they finished up preparing the ship (I suppose). After that everything went very smoothly. We went to a light lunch while waiting for our bags to arrive which took about 30 minutes or so. Overall it was very easy.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We ate at the Tuscan Grill the first night which was really good. We also ate ta Sushi on 5 which was excellent. We highly recommend it. We were Aquaclass so we had access to Blu an exclusive dining experience just for that class of cabin. It was delicious, and the staff always went above and beyond. We dined there multiple times. Cosmopolitan was a nice experience for lunch one day, but the food was just ok. The buffet was just your standard fare but well prepared..
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Fitness center was a lot larger than expected with plenty of machines available. The pools were small but plenty of deck seating around. The activities we enjoyed the most were playing Deal or No Deal, the evening shows, and the biggest hit I think was the silent disco. It was a huge success with hundreds of all ages dancing and singing along. The casino was also very popular every night.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Stage shows were well done and entertaining. The talent for our trip a comedian and an illusionist were both top notch and worth seeing.
Children's Programs
No children with us
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
As I stated the service at Blu was exceptional. It was great everywhere on the ship. It is evident to me that the staff takes pride in their work. Our room steward Mark R. was fantastic. We never wanted for anything he was always available to us.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was very clean at all times. I could see people through out the day cleaning all around the ship.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The size was a little larger than a standard ocean view cabin (I believe). Our steward kept it clean and tidy the entire time. The location was great 1 deck below the buffet mid aft. there was NO noise bleed through that we noticed. The bed was just firm enough and a very good size. The bathroom was very tight as to be expected on a ship, but the shower worked great.
Ship tip
Enjoy the food. Make sure to get involved with the different activities as they are a lot of fun. DO NOT MISS the silent disco it is the best party on the entire trip
The disembarkation process was very simple and quick. We did the Mexology tour which was so much fun. Carlos our host was terrific. Teaching us to make the best margaritas and feeding us lunch.
