Review summary
While the Celebrity Summit is a beatiful ship, the cruise we selected was geared to an older crowd. This was evidenced by the pleathora of Walkers, wheelchairs and grey hair. This is not to say there weren't yound people, they were just outnumbered 5 to 1. The Pools closed at 8 PM and there was a real lack of current entertainment for those under 65. Ports of call were outstanding. Just the normal complaint, not enough time to fully explore them. Food quality was good with some serious over-reaching by the staff. You just don't need to re-invent the Strawberry Shortcake. Staff tried very hard to be accommodatiing, but sometimes fell short. We had to ask for the same thing 3-4 times.Ports of call
Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy
Pros: Destinations - Ports of Call
Cons: Inconsistent Service
Recommends Celebrity Summit? No.
