Our favorite part of the cruise was the Beyond the Podium series. Brent Nixon and Mary Amanda Fairchild shared their knowledge of nature and history in very interesting and informative ways. It was worth getting up at 5 am to be in the Oceanview Café as we entered the fjord and had narration from Brent Nixon. We did not get off in every port but felt we learned a great deal about each one. Loved the opportunity to relax both on our balcony and in various lounges around the ship!

The Celebrity Solstice is a wonderful cruise ship, the staff was amazing.  The short comings were some of the dinners were sub-par and the deserts were very poor for the most part.  The ship has a bit of a messaging issue with regard to disembarking details, I hold management responsible for this, we often had the wrong directions.  The entertainment was tremendous and a real highlight.  Each of the Alaska ports were fun and the scenery breathtaking.  The cruise to the glacier was amazing.  I will definitely be back!  I will cruise Celebrity again!

This cruise exceeded my expectations.  Wonderful staff, very friendly and accommodating. Great food, great experience!  We will definitely be doing another cruise in the next year.  Ship was in excellent condition, the stateroom was bigger than we expected and was plenty of space for the two of us.  I highly recommend Celebrity to anyone looking to cruise!

The weather was perfect, we got one short sprinkle.  First I don't recommend Concierge.  The fruit is mostly apples, and the afternoon snack is just plain weird and not enough for one person.. I never saw much else being offered.  The ship is set up oddly to me.  The people are all very nice and helpful.  It was a friendly ship and I enjoyed my trip.  My favorite excursion was the Whale watching.  It was fun and the area around us was beautiful.

There were so many favorites on this trip!  Wonderful staff who made sure our every need was met.  Great food!  Fun shore excursions!  Clean accommodations! And much more!  My husband and I had a wonderful time!  We plan on cruising with Celebrity again!

Favorites: scenery and wildlife; White Pass RR; Skagway.  Needs to drastically improve policies and practices related to persons with disabilities especially for shore excursions and disembarkation.  My husband was treated terribly.  Would not recommend Celebrity. 

Great family vacation. We got to see hundreds of whales, bears, sea lions, bald eagles. Alaska is a beautiful untouched natural paradise. Celebrity ship offered great service, all the staff was very friendly. Ship was beautiful and clean. The French specialty resteraunt was amazing, the best meal I have had in years. Would highly recommend this cruise.

Our favorite part of the cruise were the meals. The food and drinks were excellent.

The serving staff was very good, professional, and pleasant.

Since this was our first cruise, we have nothing to compare it to. But we had a great time.

We would recommend this cruise to others. Very enjoyable time.

Pool Area's were  excellent.  Choice of Ports visited as well. 

Accommodations were good. Staff Excellent,.  Grandkids had a ball. Entertainment was so so. We cruised with Crystal last Sep. and every show was like opening nite at a Broadway Show.   Don't know who books their shows but I'd give them a call. Superb!!!

We really enjoyed our first cruise!  We loved seeing Alaska and going on the excursions!  The entertainment was wonderful and there were so many great things to do during the day/night, that we had to pick and choose what we wanted to do the most.  It was quite wonderful to be able to see and do so many things in one week and yet sleep in the same comfy bed each night.  Can't wait to do it again!

The scenery of the Inside Passage and all ports was incredible! The dining service was over the top and the food was fantastic! Take advantage of the Tuscan grill as you cruise into Juneau. We went on the bear and wildlife tour in Ketchikan and we were not disappointed as we saw plenty of bear from the boardwalk! The naturalist on board was very informative and we looked forward to his talks!

The service in the dining room and in the stateroom was excellent.  I especially want to thank the following people who went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable:

This Alaska cruise on the Celebrity Solstice was absolutely fantastic.  The ship was huge, beautiful, all very well organized.  The bar and restaurant selections were great. The food was exceptional and the staff, across the board were always happy, helpful, professional.  When so many of the staff have been with Celebrity over 10 years, that is a great indication of excellent service and a good employer.

The main dining room was beautiful and extremely efficient and the food was great.  Same with the buffet. The 3 specialty restaurants were excellent, comparing very favorably with first class restaurant in major cities. The stage shows were excellent. The daily plans of activities were well done and there was always plenty to do.  Nothing needed improvement!

Alaska is breathtaking, and Celebrity made it perfect!  

Not like any cruise I had ever been on, though I have had the pleasure of sailing on the Solstice before. Sitting on my veranda watching the amazing nature of Alaska roll by. Imagine spending a few hours there, sipping our drinks and noshing, and realizing that beyond this ship, there is not ONE man made item. Not a car, a cell tower, a house, a building, a road. Just nature, whales, mountains, waterfalls, glaciers, icebergs, dall porpoises, Eagles, terns, huge sky and at night, we were blessed with a meteor shower amidst the stars. Vast and breathtakingly beautiful,!

I was very please with the ship as it was well maintained, had nice features, and easy to navigate.  We were impressed with the furnishings in our stateroom and especially enjoyed the balcony.  We enjoyed breakfast on our balcony several days but especially enjoyed that while we were cruising through the fjord.

We chose AquaClass and was so happy with the awesome shower that comes in that level of room.  The Blu dinning room was also very nice and a great perk for sailing in the Aqua class.  We enjoyed the dining so much that we chose to eat all of our dinners in that dining room.

The only negative about this cruise was it was only one week!

This was a SUPER cruise experience! From the very start of the check-in process to checkout process, the whole experience was outstanding. We were especially appreciative of the room service and staff. Our Butler (Keegan) and our room steward (Collin and Aguna) did a magnificent job. Can't say enough good things about these gents. And, the Luminae Specialty Dining and staff were superb! We went to every restaurant and the Luminae could not be beat.

We had an excellent vacation on the Celebrity Solstice! The ship was clean and the staff was outstanding. There was always something to do on the ship when we were out at sea. The food was excellent and the on-board entertainment was great. A lot of information was provided on everything you can see from glaciers to all different types of wildlife by an Alaska expert Brent Nixon. The ports we stopped out had a lot to do and we had plenty of time to enjoy the port towns.

Everything about the ship was outstanding. We were treated like celebrities. The food was wonderful with a large variety, the service warm and personable, and the room was unbelievable. The only part that we were not real excited about was the entertainment. Although we heard many people raving about it.

i would recommend this ship to everyone!  

We have cruised many times including transatlantic as well as Caribbean.  This cruise will go down as one of our most memorable.

First time on Celebrity and loved it.  Our balcony room was spacious and the ship was beautiful.   Itinery and shore excursions were all first rate.  We liked Celebrity so much we booked a cruise for next year while on board.  Food was excellent in the general dining room so we never went to a specialty restaurant. 

Alaska is a destination we had on our bucket list and is a cruise every cruiser should do at least once.  It is very different and very memorable.
