Review summary

We booked our cruise 10 months ahead with great anticipation. We remembered past cruises on Celebrity with fondness, but have sailed with several other lines in recent years. Thus we can say that our experience with Solstice was a good experience, but was not any better than Royal Caribbean or Princess, and was only slightly better than Norwegian. Our main issue was quality of food, which has dropped from A down to B-. Cost of drinks have increased by 25%, photography 33 %, and shore excursions by 25%. We will sail again with Celebrity, but only if you are going to the right locations, not for quality or price.
