Pick an itinerary with plenty of ports of call. Equinox isn't a massive ship like Oasis of the Seas, and so if you're on for too long, it starts to feel a little boring/stale. Shopping on ship is a little limited, and as I mentioned above, the activities start to feel less variable.

Unfortunately people still save lounge chairs at the pool. On a positive the beverage package is worth the expense. Gym fills up early, but is less crowded after 10:00AM. It is a great ship.

Choose Silhouette or Reflection if you go Celebrity. More dining options. Crew seemed very disgruntled.

Arrive the day before. I missed the ship in Miami and had to fly to Cozumel because the airline took 3 hours to get baggage off the plane.

Exercise when you get a chance and walk whenever possible. Also, learn a few games at the casino. So much fun! Also, check out the library, there are some great books.

bring a good book, there are lots of quiet places to escape to with amazing views of God's creation, be still and relax about the Equinox

Of the specialty restaurants tried the Italian Tuscan was on the Lower end of the scale. All the others we loved or heard so many raves about we intend to try them next year!
