Was not aware that if you are a smaller party you may be sitting at a table with other people at the set dining time. May want to call the cruise line and verify your dining setup.

Enjoy the shows and the restaurants but don’t be disappointed that it’s not glitz or glammer. We took this cruise for the promise of rest and relaxation.

This was my first cruise, so I read tons of articles and watched all sorts of videos on cruising. An over-the-door shoe holder worked great over the bathroom door as extra storage to hold all my little things. Magnetic hooks were a fabulous idea. We hung them on the ceiling to put damp clothes on hangars to dry out, hung one by the door to hang our Sea Pass lanyards on so we always remembered to take them on our way out, etc. One great thing…I heard a few people say they lost things, expensive things, and they went to lost and found and people had turned them in. Yay!

Expect to get a limited menu in dining room if on a 6 night or less cruise. Celebrity cutting back even though customers still paying same price per night as longer cruises. No lobster, rack of lamb, pork chops, and very limited fish, seafood and beef options.

Celebrity is a premium brand, so it will be a more elegant experience than your typical mass market cruise (i.e. Carnival or Royal Caribbean). In my opinion, this class of ship is designed for relaxation, experiencing live music performances, and nice dining without spending a fortune on specialty restaurants. The Martini Bar on Deck 4 was always busy and very popular, with its frozen countertops.
