Review summary

This was my first time on a Celebrity. Although there were some children it was a lot less than other cruises which I appreciated. The food and service was great. there were a couple of hiccups but overall this was one of the best cruises I have been on in awhile and would definitely choose to cruise Celebrity again.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Relatively fast and efficient

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The main dining room's food was fantastic. There were one or 2 entrees that were only ok but we really enjoyed the food on Celebrity. The buffets had lots of choices so there was something for everyone. We did not try the specialty restaurants.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Fitness center was well equipped but very warm most days. There was a court to play basketball and pickleball as well as mini golf but ew did not partake in those. There was a lot of trivia activities and live music. This cruise was definitely geared more towards an adult crowd.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The nightly shows were amazing. The acrobatic variety acts were top-notch and something I haven't seen on the other cruise lines in the past.

Children's Programs

no children

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Staff aboard this boat were the friendliest I have encountered. We had a couple of issues with the room being serviced (missing towels or dirty towels not all being picked up).

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Overall a good layout. Everything was very clean including the bathrooms.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Room was a decent size. Balcony was actually bigger than other ships I have been on. We could have fit 3 chairs out there.

Ship tip

Was not aware that if you are a smaller party you may be sitting at a table with other people at the set dining time. May want to call the cruise line and verify your dining setup.

Ports of call

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
The scuba diving excursion was excellent. Small group and very knowledgeable dive crew.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Snorkeling was just ok, didn't see that many unique fish/sea life and catamaran excursion was fun although packed with people. Fury beach was nice and plenty of chairs/umbrellas for everyone.

Bimini, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Bimini is one of my favorite places. Not a lot to do in the town but the people are very friendly and the beaches are beautiful.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We were off the boat first thing in the morning and zipped thru customs which only required a facial recognition photo.

I love the beach on Bimini as well. Took a $5 cab ride to Radio Beach, local and uncrowded. Food ,drinks, umbrella and chairs all reasonably priced.

Thanks for your detailed review. Cruise lines have put parties of 2 with other parties for years. We enjoyed talking to new folks and hearing what they did while in port. Sometimes we had to join other folks in the buffet too. Glad you had a nice cruise

I cruised with Celebrity for my first cruise last September, and I loved it. So glad that you enjoyed the cruise line, as well!
