I saw alot of brow beating from buffet dining management against African staff members. I wasn't happy nor did I appreciate the open disparity this ship exemplified! I won't be back to Celebrity I know that for a fact.

If you 60+, this ship would be a gem. If your under 40 don't cruise with Celebrity Equinox
Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! I blamed Celebrity for not identifying recourse options. Celebrity was complicit in their own demise. We got word a bad storm was a brewing. As soon as they made the announcement overhead on the ship we immediately went to Short Excursions desk for confirmation on possible alternative solution. We asked if we should continue with storm coming in with Excursion. The visibility will be low and oblivious we can't get out in the storm. Celebrity response was we can cancel and provide you with a full refund. Then moments later they said we can provide you with only 15% of your refund since it's less than 24hrs. I said well the Excursion is weather dependent! Longer story short, we was soaking wet the entire Excursion, people got sick and cold due to soak clothes, we didn't see the city as intended due to weather. Absolutely TERRIBLE! For the remaining of the cruise we did not use Celebrity for anything else! We did Excursion on our own at 1/4 of the price and had multiple great times!
I do hope your next cruise will be everything you're hoping for. As for your ship tip, I must say that I am under 40, and I had the time of my life on this ship when I took my first cruise last September. But, I know everyone is different, so...
