Review summary

First time using celebrity and it was great for adults. There were children but not many. This cruise is geared to adults. There are no sides and kids stuff. There are kids and teen clubs available for them. The entertainment is focused on adult type shows which I enjoyed. The casinos and bars weee good as well. And if you wanted a quiet space you could always find a spot.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The meals at the dining room were very good. The cafe was goo but often crowded. I did not try specialty restaurants. They seemed good for special occasions.

Lots to keep us busy

5 out of 5
All except one show were good

Children's Programs

I didn’t have young children on board. Had adult children.

Waiters were very attentive and housekeeping was on top of what we needed.

Ship Quality

Big enough to venture around different spaces

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Room was clean and roomy for a ship

Ship tip

There is only one USB port and Teo outlets to use by the desk. If you want more bring an extension cord

Easy to get to from the airport. My daughter drove and parked easily.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Walked around in our own and it was fine. I would give it 3 1/2 stars. We arrived at 4 pm so it wasn’t really beach time and really had a few hours to walk around with daylight. At night it rained so we went back to the ship. We could have enjoyed a cocktail somewhere it is didn’t.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Lots of taxis ready to take you where you need to go. Sky ride and Meghan’s bay are the top tourist sites. Other things are ferrynto St John’s which we did not have enough time to do.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Did a regatta race on our own and was fun. We booked the same company that the ship uses only because the ship Excursion booked up.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

We took a ferry to virgin Gorda. The Speedy (the services name) ferry includes a taxi into the Baths national Park for about $16 one way. Baths has to be one of the most interesting and beautiful beaches and spots I have been too. Leave really early like 7 Am if you have to be back by 2:30 pm. I’d you go after 8:30 you will not have enough time to spend there.

Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic

If you don’t book and excursion here you will be bored. We did the Durajagua falls. Very very strenuous. I don’t recommend if are not a physically active person.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy to leave
