Of the twenty or so cruises that we have taken this was in the top five. Given the summer heat I don't think you could have made it more enjoyable. We look forward to our next cruise!

Exceptionally friendly staff in buffet. Agness and Adalyn were always smiling and helpful. I enjoyed Agness singing. The main dining room was also staffed with very friendly people. The food in both the buffet and the main dining rooms was awesome. I tried escargot for the first time and was amazed how good it was.
Onboard Activities

We mostly enjoyed lounging in the air conditioned part of the deck because of the heat. It was very relaxing.
Entertainment

All the shows were very good especially the first and fourth performance of the song and dance group. The magician was a little corny but still entertaining. The three women singing group were very good. I think labelling themselves as three different sounds created an expectation that wasn't met but they are still very talented and entertaining. Leah Cannelli was awesome. The family friendly comedian was funny. I didn't attend the adult show as I am not a fan of profanity, especially just for profanity sake. That's not a criticism of the Equinox; it's the same on all the ships. My only suggestion is to have the song and dance group perform only three nights and have someone like Leah Cannelli perform twice or have another entertainer on the ship. Overall the entertainment was awesome!
Service and Staff

Our cabin steward, Felipe, was everything I hoped for. My wife missed the towels made into animals but he made our experience very pleasant.
The waiters in the main dining room were friendly and efficient. At times they seemed a little overworked but were always attentive to our requests. The lady that seated us, I don't remember her name, was exceptionally professional and friendly. She always accomodated my wife's request to be seated near a window.
As I stated above, the staff in the buffet was very friendly and helpful especially Agness and Adalyn. The breakfast supervisor from Poland was very nice to my wife who is also from Poland. He always sought her out to greet her in Polish. That made her feel good.
Ship Quality

It was very easy to navigate. I really appreciate that our room was so close to the elevator that went to both the theater and where we lounged on the deck.
Cabin / Stateroom

Everything about the cabin was very nice. I wished that there was a divider between the bed and the balcony so I could have enjoyed some quiet time while my wife continued to sleep. I wake up a few hours before her. Perhaps your higher level rooms have that feature. I should have asked. All in all the room was great. My wife and I appreciated the option to watch movies for free which we haven't experienced on other ships.

Lose five pounds before you sail. Men don't bring a suit. Communicate with your cell phone provider ahead of time to understand your options.
