If an event (especially in the Club) looks popular, try to get there early, it fills up.

Bring your patience at elevators and crowded areas, as the passengers were definitely on the more mature side, so lots of scooters and wheelchairs.

Try all of the dining rooms, and check out the buffet at lunch. Their French bread is absolutely amazing.

My one complaint in being in The Retreat on Apex is the Retreat Sundeck has very few shaded loungers. So we spent most of our time in the Solarium which was beautiful, but would have liked to be able to use the Sundeck
