Because we were in a suite we were escorted to the Retreat waiting area for embarkation. They checked us in while we enjoyed hors d'oeuvre type snacks, and then escorted on to the ship when we wanted to board. Awesome!

Dinner at Eden the night of our anniversary was perfect!! Beautiful view from the window and the food was superb!
Raw on 5 was also fantastic!
Rooftop Grill was just ok, although the service was excellent, the food and smokey atmosphere did not appeal to me.
Luminae for me was just ok and we only ate there 2x

The production shows Tree Of Life and Crystalized were amazing! The musicians, especially The Cardinals, were excellent. Silent disco both nights were a blast. Some of the entertainment venues were small for the amount of people ie Caravan in the Club. It needed a larger venue. All in all entertainment on Apex was not lacking

9193 S2 sky suite was perfect for us! It was midship and equal steps to either the forward or aft elevators. The room was spacious, the bed faced the balcony for beautiful views from bed, which was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was heavenly
Ship tip
My one complaint in being in The Retreat on Apex is the Retreat Sundeck has very few shaded loungers. So we spent most of our time in the Solarium which was beautiful, but would have liked to be able to use the Sundeck
Being in a suite made embarkation a breeze. We went to the Retreat Lounge and had a continental breakfast and when we were ready the Retreat Concierge Team escorted us off the ship.
