Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. A few small things would make it exceptional (more hooks and different port location for Santorini) but the staff and crew were fantastic. We felt very pampered and safe!

Amazing ship and ports. Great cruise! The Apex is a MUST cruise.

Our family of four from the United States, two adults and two children ages 7 and 10 had the pleasure of cruising with Celebrity Apex the week of July 9-17, 2021. We were very pleased with Celebrity Apex. The service, food and amenities on board were truly top notch. What made this cruise unforgettable was truly the service our family received on board. The staff worked hard to make sincere connections to guests and went out of their way to provide exceptional service. We stayed in a Celebrity Suite and it was incredible. The room was spacious, had great storage and a wonderful balcony. Staying in a suite allowed us access to The Retreat. The staff in the Retreat Lounge, Retreat Sundeck and Retreat restaurant, Luminae, were truly exceptional at customer service and went out of their way to make sure our vacation was one we will never forget. The level of service and attention to detail was top notch and so appreciated. The only negative experience we had on board was at the spa. It was the worst massage and facial I've ever had in my life. My therapist interrupted my massage and facial MULTIPLE times to try to sell me on a number of products and additional add-on services. She told me how my body had cellulite, not enough collegian in my face, among other hurtful comments. I came to relax, not to be sold on additional services and products by telling me how my body wasn't perfect. I had purchased a week-long thermal pass and after such a negative experience during my massage I stopped going to the spa. I didn't feel comfortable and didn't want to be approached again to hear about how my face didn't have enough collegian in it, or how I could decrease my cellulite. It's the only negative experience we had on board, but after spending almost $300 for the thermal pass and $200 on my spa treatment it leaves a VERY bad taste in my mouth as to how I chose to use my on board credit. The food on board was plentiful and delicious. We dined for dinner most nights in Luminaee the restaurant that was reserved for guests staying in the Retreat (suites). Our two servers in Luminaee were beyond FANTASTIC. Gary and Sony were two of the best servers we've ever had anywhere in the world. The food was incredible and portion sizes were appropriate. The service in the Retreat Lounge and Retreat pool was also incredible. The staff would often walk around offering guests drinks, cold towels, fruit, and other special treats while enjoying the sun deck. There were always plenty of chairs by the pool and on the sun deck. We also appreciated that there were a number of options for chairs that had shade and sun, depending on what felt best. The two bar tenders in the Retreat Lounge were WONDERFUL at their craft and worked so hard to please each guest. A BIG thank you to Oksanya and Demitri. Our Retreat host (butler), Diana and stateroom attendant Natalia both worked so hard to make our trip unforgettable. They both showed tremendous love to our family and children. We dined in two specialty restaurants while on board. Eden and Le Chef de France. Both dinners provided exceptional food and service. We could not have been happier. It was our first time on Celebrity and we look forward to our next trip and hope the spa goes better next time.

We have not been able to cruise for about 2 years due to COVID. This was our return to the water on a great ship, first time on Celebrity, and first time in the Retreat. Well, we're spoiled now and will definitely be returning to Celebrity. Our cruise coordinator, Donnie Brummer, bent over backwards to see that we were able to get on this cruise. We thank him for all of his efforts.

This was a wonderful week. It was the maiden voyage of a brand new and very impressive shipt. Everyone (crew and guests) was thrilled to be there at all after more than a year of covid grounding. We were only 700 guests on the huge ship so everything was convenient, no lines for anything, everything available.

This was a great first cruise on Celebrity. I was hesitant about it as I thought they are much more formal and catered to an older cliental. While they do have a couple of formal nights, most people don't dress up more than a collard shirt and khaki pants. I was right about the age range, they confirmed the average was in their 50's-60's, however there were some younger cruisers as well. The ship was very well designed, and did not feel crowded. We had around 2,700 guests on a ship that has a double occupancy of 2,900, so we were at just under 95% capacity yet I never would have thought there were as many people. Never waited in lines for more than a minute or two.

I heard the ship was only 2/3 full, so I’m sure that enhanced our trip. I was usually on the elevator by myself. Only waited once for an elevator, and that was getting back on after a port day.

One of our best cruises to date! We have been on the Edge twice and we're on the Beyond in December 2022 and we enjoyed the theater shows more on the Apex!

In conclusion, we were disappointed in the cruise and the ship. We had high expectations for Apex and it failed to meet those expectations. We were hoping it would be a nice alternative to Oceania. Not even close. In fact, we had the Apex booked for a 12 day cruise to UK and Ireland and decided ti cancel while we were on the ship. That should say it all. In fact, we booked Oceania.

Have 4 cruises booked on this fabulous ship. Three are back to back cruises in June of 2023 and on in July of 2024

The buffet was a masterpiece and was impressive. Shows were meh overall and bartenders need formal training here.

The Celebrity APEX continues to provide passengers with enjoyable experiences at sea and interesting excursions in ports. Crew members work hard to make passengers feel comfortable and keep the ship clean and functioning properly. There’s always something to do onboard APEX from enter

This was our first cruise and we thoroughly enjoyed it, despite it raining all but the last 2 days. The live musicians were great, bartenders and skills were fun to watch, the entertainment was excellent! We appreciated the respect the captain and the cruise director gave to not just the guests, but the recognition of the hard working staff. We recommend this cruise.

Met a lot of very friendly, fun people. Will definitely be booking again with Celebrity. Staff was awesome, food was very good. Only complaint was the MDR was slow some night. Didn’t impact our fun, however.

Ship is beautiful, most staff are amazing. Best embarkation I have ever had, taxi to atrium in under 20 minutes. Food was good. It’s a great premium line, not a true luxury line. Pool bar was just ok. Some servers were incredible. Stateroom attendant was great and efficient but did not talk to him. Food was good but not incredible, some dishes were better than others. I like that crowd was getting younger. 30s and 40s. We had an infinity balcony and I’d prefer a regular balcony.

Would definitely do again without an upgrade. Loved the staff and hope beautiful the ship is.

Over 75 and 80 and it was boring and the shows were not that great!! Going back to Royal Caribbean!!

I went on our family annual December cruise on the Celebrity Apex for the first time. The ship provided more than enough entertainment and a dangerous amount of excellent food and services. We went to Key West before heading to the western Caribbean (Belize, Cozumel and Grand Cayman). A fantastic voyage and i eagerly look forward to returning to it all!

Apex is worth the money! Shawna the Apex cruise director is absolutely fantastic and a Canadian!! The ship was rocking (15 foot swells) but still a great cruise. If you get sick go down to guest services for a magic pill (gravol).

Older crowd with very few kids. Alot of activities for adults. Food was always great. Service is amazing
