Review summary

This was our first cruise and we thoroughly enjoyed it, despite it raining all but the last 2 days. The live musicians were great, bartenders and skills were fun to watch, the entertainment was excellent! We appreciated the respect the captain and the cruise director gave to not just the guests, but the recognition of the hard working staff. We recommend this cruise.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
This was our first cruise and we were impressed by how easy, organized it was to drop or luggage and board! Just make sure to manually set your watches / phones to shiptime so you don’t miss your excursions. We didn’t do that and missed our excursion. The cruise staff credited our account immediately and assisted us with setting our time properly and with looking at other excursion options. Live and learn!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The 4 main dining rooms offered different experiences. We did add on the dinner on The Magic Carpet and it was worth every penny! We also did the Le Petit Chef experience. The food was excellent everywhere, the staff were incredible!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Our son loved the silent discos (19 yrs.). The performances in the Thea were unbelievable! It was impressive that the captain attended all performances and was present for the guests.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Top notch, hilariously fun, and accommodating. Daniel attended to us and our room and he definitely added to the comfort in our experience.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Coverall cleanliness was great! Sometimes the dining area in the buffet was a little backed up for cleaning, but it’s not suggesting staff weren’t giving their all!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Daniel was attentive to our needs, the cabin was incredibly clean, and we never had to ask for anything, he was 10 steps ahead of us! He also helped us navigate packing and exiting procedures. He was just awesome! Especially given we had no idea what we were doing as first timers! Daniel was appreciated!

Ship tip

For new cruisers, Set your time on all devices to shiptime, pack your swimsuits in a backpack / carry on bag in the event it takes time to receive your luggage (our came relatively quickly), and understand when you need to send your luggage down and what to keep for the morning of departure. Don’t miss s single show in the theater! We were blown away!

Disembarkation

We’ll organized again! Our only confusion as new people to cruising was how to pack our bag the night before when our luggage was being taken down. The information was there, we just didn’t read it soon enough! Our fault, not the ship’s!
