The management personnel of the ship acted as if they never sailed together before. It is a big ship with 3,500 passengers and 1,250 crew so that may be part of the problem.

Do not book with cheap cruises you get a terrible room and none of the bonuses promised

We had a great time and enjoyed most of our excursions. There were some downers. $12.00 to see a movie on board, the system failing at debarkation, and the lack of a real walking track on the ship. You had to weave in and out of barriers to walk on deck 5, also the Sky Ride they advertise was down for maintenance the entire trip.

Again, I love cruising. I learned I do not care for Vista class ships

Was excited about going on the Vista (new ship to the Galveston port). Total disappointment! Will try not to book any more cruises on this ship.

Absolutely subpar in every aspect, especially the food/drinks & ports.

This cruise did what it was supposed to do. The ship was clean and the staff was helpful and co-operative. The ship was clumsy to get around for us and seemed to be too crowded.

Beautiful ship with amazing artwork. Overworked staff who do their best but are just too overwhelmed to provide outstanding service. The main dining room meals were terribly slow and we walked out without dessert a few times because it was taking too long. The Cruise Director, Kindell, went on the intercom system nightly around 9pm, which is very loud in the cabin hallways, for her announcement which woke up the toddler in the cabin next to ours and sent it into loud crying fits for a minimum of 30 minutes each night. There were even a few random announcements after 10pm on the in cabin speaker system about a medical emergency in the casino and such. There was no reason for this to be in the cabins and waking people up. I felt horrible for the toddler next to our room (and us because we had to listen to her whaling!) The new sea day brunch menu is outstanding and still has our favorite go to items. The buffet staff was very patient and nice and went above and beyond to get drink refills and the like for passengers. And of course, Guy's Burgers and the Seafood Shack are both highlights of the Carnival food scene!

We had a marvelous time on the ship though kids and grown ups did not know how to sleep. Noisy going up and down the hall just shameful and the slamming of the doors no manners at all just wild dogs on a ship.

Carnival needs to work on the areas of their hotel management. The beds and bedding need to go back to the days when you could sink into that cold comfort after laying out on deck all day. This ship isn't that old, but it could use a good thorough cleaning. The Havana portion is a waste of ship space for those of us that want the old Serenity Adult Only pool experience.

I am still really upset we chose this cruise. We chose this ship because we wanted to do the sky ride, and they had it closed down. next time I think we will book with someone else so hopefully we get to do what is marketed to us.

We really enjoyed our vacation but we really did not enjoy Costa Maya. We paid for a taste of costa maya with open bar and beach break but there was no open bar and the only thing we saw was a lighthouse. I also had an issue because we were told by several people that they only paid between 50-300 for the cruise and we paid well over 2000. While we appreciate the onboard credit of 200 as well as the 50% off future cruise it would have been nice to pay less for this change

Overall, great 1st cruise experience. Good excursions, nice weather, ship needs to keep adult bars open till 1:00 a.m. Dislike the casino bar - way too smoky for late night beverage. Breakfast in the dinning room was always great. Every one of the specialty dinning venues was 5 star.

I was very let down with my onboard experience with the room steward and waitress staff. Not to mention that some things cheap cruises told us was not true like we were told the prepaid gratuity was included and then on our 5th day my parents account was hit with $700 of gratuity charges.

It was great! Food good ice cream & burger bar the best. Loved our steward room serve crew Jomar was the best. The room was great. Loved Bingo

This cruise did not meet our expectations and the Ship was in desperate need of maintenance!

Best cruise ever, can not wait until the next one, next year, booked and ready to go.
