There was no room for me on this ship. There was music blasting near every pool. Even in adult area, new age electronic music was too laud and drilling through my brain. This music should be set in the background to create relaxing atmosphere. So, I spent most of my time in my room.

The carnival splendor was a beautiful ship! The crew is very friendly, and they even remember your name and some of your preferences. My boyfriend and I had such a amazing time that we were sad it had to end. I have been on a carnival cruise before and it has always been great. For those who are going for the first time your are guarenteed to have a wonderful time.

Hard to get around the ship. Food average under spiced. Bland. Trouble with Spa.

The color pink was everywhere; and the ship had no sense of direction; you couldnt walk around it like Royal carribbean's ships... VERY CONFUSING. Was not impressed with the cruise director; TOO FAKE!! We walked up to say hi during the captain's meet and greet and felt snubbed!!! Food was not TERRIFIC but average; although DESSERTS WERE PHENOMENAL esp the MELTING CHOCOLATE CAKE!!

We had the time of our lives. Great room steward, best we have ever had in 10 carnival cruises. Good ports , nice entertainment. I think we only relaxed one day the rest was go go go.....

Ship was clean, but decor a little too pink colored for me. Bed was very uncomfortable. They said they changed it, but still hard as a rock. People working in the dining room and room stewards were great. The manager of our dining room really loved her job. Very refreshing...! Too bad the food was so poor.

This was my first time on a cruise so I didn't have anything to compare the Carnival Splendor to, however, I had done my research. The ship was better than I expected and was excellent value for the price. We loved our oceanview cabin and felt at home, it was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. The staff was phenomenal and always helped us out when we needed them. If you're up for a good time and don't really care for fancy aesthetics, the Carnival Splendor is perfect. The activities were hilarious and really encouraged everyone to participate, and from what I saw, everyone had a great time.

went on this ship for our honeymoon and had a great time. We are already planning another cruise and would definitely recomend it

The ship is organized and very well organized. With over 3,000 guests, most events ran like clockwork. Food was generally well prepared and attractive. Entertainment was great. Dancers especially.

Very nice job by everyone on board, the crew makes the ship.

WE had a lot of fun and would go again if we had time. This is the best way to see Mexico.

the ship was fine, but had a GREAT staff. All the people were pretty nice. The Cruise Director was a little boring though. The 7 day trip was nice. A little too much pink and not enough views of the actual ocean from inside floors (blocked by inward facing couches)

It was beautiful. Everything was clean and gorgeous! Friendliest staff in the World!

Very clean ship. We chose a grand suite this time since we had 2 adults and 2 teenagers. This was the best decision we made. If you can afford it I highly recommend spending the extra money. The outside theatre was great. They provide blankets because it does get cold. The cleaning staff was awesome. We are messy people and they kept the room clean. The food was good. The desserts are usually bland but this time most had a flavor. They provided lots,of photo options which was great because I can never get the family to all smile...so I had lots,of options to choose from. I only have 2 complaints. I wish that the major show's times were earlier and the casino slots just sucked the money in. I know they would be tight but these were overly tight.

It was a nice ship. Very clean, great food, happy people.

I think my expectations were a bit high after everyone told me how wonderful a cruise was. I had done the all inclusive resort thing before and loved that and was hoping this would be a similar experience. The sticker shock of the first day turned me off. Drinks were very pricy. I understand that a lot of money is made on alcohol but having to buy four beers instead of one or two was a bit much. Also the yoga and spin classes in the gym were up charges. Dining was not bad - always plenty of food. I recommend going to the small food options (the deli and the indian counters specifically) instead of the buffet for lunch. Dinner in the main dining room was typically good. Had dinner in the steak house one night and that was very nice. Not fantastic, but worth the $30/person up charge over the regular dining. The cruise spent two days in Cabo and only one day in Proto Vallarta. Would only do this cruise again if that was changed to 1 in cabo and 2 in Porto. People were nice and friendly. Staff was attentive and professional. Met some interesting people that we'll hopefully stay in touch with.

Nice ship. Not crazy about layout or design. Have to walk on certain decks to get to others. Food was mediocre at best. Couldn't believe they didn't have egg salad at the deli or english muffins for breakfast. Waited in line every evening for dinner.Intertainment average. Staff friendly.

The ship decor was very nice and impressive. The shows were very well done, specifically the costumes. The selection of music was geared to a younger crowd and didn't do much for relaxation. Perhaps a blend of "golden oldies" with rock & roll would provide a more en- joyable fit. The cruise was reasonably priced and provided good quality enjoyment. The stops at Cabo and Puerta Vallarta were appreciated and we hope will continue to be safe.
