Very good condition and very clean. Since this was my first cruise, my expectations were exceeded in many areas. I was unhappy with the quality of the housekeeping although it was generally acceptable. I was disappointed at the overcharging of excursions at all the ports.The food was generally good but the design of the food area could have been better to allow for less confusion and the bumping into staff ( which were excellent in promptly cleaning up). Overall, would recommend the ship and the line but would pass on the excursions.

Overall impression was good.

I was wowwed by the size of the ship and amazed at the amount of space on the ship.No where was there ever a large amount of people other than at the shows. The service and food was top notch!

It had a "clown like" feeling. Like I was at a circus. I suggest some kind of color coding or different art work at each elevator area to help with where you are on the ship. The maps were too small for my eyesight.

My husband & I enjoy cruising & go often but not again with Carbival. The beds were very uncomfortable. The decor was in bad taste, because of all the partial nudity.However the food was very good at Dinner but the lines were horrible in the buffet at lunch. We liked all the servers & room attendants.We also appreciated the fact that we had a couch in our room. Our grandsons were suppose to have a balcony, we paid for one & they did not have one.

Very well managed. Stu the activities director stands out above the rest. The dining room was excellent and fun too, our room accomodations were really nice. I have been on three cruises and this is the best thus far. Thanks and keep up the good job. Will this be shared with Carnival. Wish they had a form to complete too. Linda

The ship was clean and the crew that did the "heavy lifting" were great.

Beautiful ship.

Was a lousy cruise. The crew was not friendly at all everywhere you went. The only exception was our waiter and his assistants in the dinning room. The cabin steward did a lousy job on tidying up the room...ie bed linens were never really made just the top thrown over. The food was the worst we have ever had on a cruise. For the amount of time spent at sea, the activities offered were so lame that we couldn't wait for a port to appear! We went to 2 shows and walked out early in the productions as they were...again the worst we had seen on any cruise!

The ship is very well laid out, i loved the availability of food, the variety, friendly staff and the can do attitude. A lot of the machines in the Gym were broken, so unavailable and had long wait times. Needed more variety in terms of shows.

Itinary was not the best. Spent the whole day in Skagway while they could have spent more time in Juneau or Ketchikan

THE FOOD WAS GOOD AND I DIDN'T FEEL STUFFED. HAD A VARIETY OF FRUITS AND VEGIES.

The Carnival Spirit was a fantasitc, friendly, floating city. Our room was very clean at all times..we loved being greeted by our towel friend every evening. The sample pack was really useful. The cleaning staff were all so fun as were the dining staff. We were greeted by every staff member we encountered from the cleaning crew to the captain. The captain even bought my husband a drink. There was so much to do from the unreal shows, dining, dancing, drinking, exercisnig and shopping. we enjoyed it all. The ports offered so much for us to do. I hated seeing it all come to an end! The Alaskan cruise was the best vacation I have ever been on!

The ship was very small, and my husband, being 6 foot 7, hit his head on ceilings and doorways. Many of the activities were difficult to find, it felt like being in a maze. The gym for example, while being on the front of the ship, is very difficult to get to. You have to go through the spa and down some winding hallways, where you find yourself in a small gym with limited equipment. The hottub in the gym, however, was very nice and kept at a good temperature. The dinner in the Empire dining room was great, but the buffet was not very good and was basically the same food every day. Night life was boring, and the bars had limited selections.

A wonderful week of vacation away from home life. A great time as a couple enjoying the scenery, the history, the wildlife, and food. The glaciers and their power is breath taking.

The cruise was relaxing and entertaining. The whale spotting, bald eagle, seals and icebergs were awesome sights. Plenty of time of relaxing with 18 hours up and back of travel time on the water. Service was the best ever experienced. Clean rooms, delicious food and great family entertainment.

First time cruising. We are hooked. If you are looking for a great staff, fun activities, great shore excursions, and a great family time, this is it. The room was nice. The room attendant was great. There was always someone around if we needed something.

The Ship was what we was hoping it would be and more. Very elegant but yet casual feeling. The food and drinks was wonderful and always available.

I love everything on the Carnival ship. The room service and restaurant service is the best of the best. I love the employees who works there, very professional and working so hard that I feel the gratuity fee not enough, customer should give them some extra tip for excellent customer service.

The suite we had was very nice, the tacky 70's Las Vegas styling of the ship was embarrassing. The cocktail vendors were annoying and the infomercial manner of the Cruise Director was a pain. The waiters and room attendants were tremendous. The food was so-so.
