First Alaska Cruise with Carnival Spirit

Sail Date: June 14, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The Ship was what we was hoping it would be and more. Very elegant but yet casual feeling. The food and drinks was wonderful and always available.

Pros: The Scenery

Cons: Limited time in some ports

Recommends Carnival Spirit? Yes!

Ship Quality
We felt so comfortable on this ship!
Food and Dining
Just perfect for us, we loved the options that was layed out, no stress! Yeah!!!
Cabin / Stateroom
Don't cruise without a balcony, it made our trip!
Service and Staff
We was amazed on how all the staff knew our names in such a short time and throughout our cruise! We felt special at all times during our time on our cruise! And We Thank Them!!!!
Entertainment
The variety was wonderful, a good time for anyone!
Juneau, Alaska
We loved this port, but too short of a stay. We did the gold panning and salmon bake, but wish we could of stayed longer for the gold panning and skipped the salmon bake, and toured the town more!
Don't Miss: The Red Dog Saloon!!!
Victoria, British Columbia
A beautiful city and garden, but not enough time in this port, we felt this is one we did not get what we paid for, we needed more time here!!! We was not even enough time to step ground in downtown
Don't Miss: The Butchart Gardens
Ketchikan, Alaska
Interesting to learn the culture of the Saxman Village was great,The Lumberjack show was okay but then again i wish we would of chose something a little more exciting maybe a zipline or helicopter ride
Don't Miss: The Tram
Skagway, Alaska
Train Ride, Nice ride, good narration, saw animals, nice waterfalls, snow, We felt our time was too long in this port!
Don't Miss: The Train Ride
