The ship was clean and the crew that did the "heavy lifting" were great.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The dining room was the best place for dinner, but the worst place for breakfast. The food on the buffet deck was usually cold and monotonous in offerings.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The comedians, especially the second set that boarded were poor. One had junk for material and the other one was just rude, crude and socially unacceptable.

Children's Programs

Cabin / Stateroom

The person who took care of our stateroom was very good at his job.

Ports of call

Skagway, Alaska

3 out of 5
Truly the best excursion we took. The young man who drove the bus was very well schooled in his presentation and the train ride was great fun, but the scenery was indescribable.
Don't Miss: the train ride to the Yukon territory

Juneau, Alaska

Don't Miss: don't think I partook of one

Ketchikan, Alaska

not much there.

Victoria, British Columbia

1 out of 5
This port of call is an absolute waste of time. The ship might as well keep on cruising toward Seattle and call the trip what it really is a "long boat ride".
Don't Miss: don't stop and please do miss

Pros: the train ride from the Yukon territory

Cons: the hype associated with EVERY excursion; some were far less wonderful than the sales pitch
