Like on any cruise, alcoholic drinks are quite expensive, but if you plan to order more that one at any given time, you will find that, with many drinks, you can order a double for only an additional $3.

The Lido buffet on the 9th floor afforded me very well as a vegetarian and my mother who is not! The cruse director, Steve, was always available, our rm. steward, Randy, was accommodating such as getting us extra hangers, and Agapito, our waiter, quickly memorized what we drank/ate typically.

A room with a window is a must have. If you can afford the upgrade to balcony is it well wiry that the extra money. I love being able to sit outside and enjoy the quiet and the views

Try to get a balcony in the middle on deck 6 or above and obstructed balconies is not good for going on panama canal cruises since you can't view out on the balcony during that excursion. We were lucky to have unobstructed balcony this time.

I couldn't live without my balcony. Just being able to sit outside without the direct sun of the upper decks. Bring an "octopus" plug!!! Especially with all of our electronics, one electrical outlet just doesn't work. Eat breakfast in the Normandie at least once.

Spend lots of time on the Lido deck there are always activities, swim in all three pools and make sure to go on the water slides. Try all the different restaurants and make sure you are on time to things or you may miss out as all activities are exactly 30 minutes long.
