Review summary
This was my first and will be my last cruise. To say there was chaos everywhere would be an understatement. No one knew anything and to get answers to questions we would waste time in one line after another. Getting off at ports, or back at home for that matter, was a complete sh*t show. There is not enough to do on the ship and we spent most of the last day at sea just wandering about the ship. The staff was nice and friendly though. The food in the restaurant was pretty good. One really bad thing is that parents forgot they had to watch children. We went up to get an ice cream one night and there were 3 kids just letting the ice cream free fall onto the table and the floor. Really gross. We attended every art auction and bought quite a bit of art mostly because the staff from Park West was knowledgeable and friendly and partly because we were so bored, we really had not much else to do. Pools are overcrowded with loud young people and kids, the small adults area was always too full and we attended every seminar or show we could and we could still not fill up the days and we still couldn't! I think this cruise is perfect for younger people that want to do nothing but lay by the pool and eat all day and buffets - but I am guessing you can do that for a lot less elsewhere. I do not recommend for frequent travelers. It is not a good way to see a new country and the time on the ship is painful.
