Perfect family getaway

I have a family of six. We have two older kids (13 and 11 years old) and two younger (6 and 3).  We have a difficult time finding a family outing that suites everybody. Normally the younger kids dictate what we do for fun which makes it not so great for the older kids. On this cruise, all of us had the time of our life. We needed two staterooms. The older kids had their own and my wife and I shared one with our little ones. This accommodated all of us perfectly. The older kids could do what they wanted while my wife and I had fun with the younger two. We would all get together for our excursions, a few formal dinners, and our family photo shoot (By the way, I would HIGHLY recommend Jasmina Ban for a photographer. Our photos were by far the best we've ever had.). The weather was unseasonably cold on most days but it didn't matter. We still had such a great time everyday. Carnival did so many little things that make a huge impact on our stay. They make all the logistical stuff as easy as possible. The friendly and personable staff are the second to none, hands down.
